In my office (college helpdesk), random students coming for help steal stuff all the time, ranging from usb drives to cellphones.

A really long time ago, back in the 90s, I read a report where billions of dollars worth of crap are stolen from the workplace every year. Everything ranging from pens to paper clips to typewriters, televisions, computers, even higher dollar shit. But they said it's the .001 cent paper clips and .20 cent pens and a lot of other low cost shit that make up the biggest loss. I guess those pennies do add up.
