 New Gun *PICS*
Finally got my CPL & pistol
Smith & Wesson 1911 with
match grade barrel
match grade trigger
match grade hammer
Crimson Trace grips (LASERS!)
4 1/4" barrel length
8 + 1 capacity of .45 with 2 mags
So far I have put 300 rds through her since last Wed. No problems so far. The spring is still a bit tight but I was told it takes at least 500+ rounds for that to break in, then you have to change it around 2,000 rounds. This will most likely be the first pistol I buy and don't sell. I carry it everyday & everywhere I can. I have some Hornady TAP ammo coming soon that I plan to use for self defense, until then I am using cheaper Winchester PD ammo.
Groups of about 4" at 20-30 ft. Out at 40-50 about 6" to 10". The crimson trace laser was surprisingly accurate and really fun to shoot with.
Get one.

That's badass bro. What's the CPL? Is that like the conceal handgun liscense, CHL, in Texas?

Okay...so, I'm in love with the damn gun...my wife wants to know: what's the strange "creepy finger looking thing"? I'm too damn drunk to figure it out.

If you are talking about the thing used to hold the gun up for the picture, that is a deer antler.

It was probably one of the worst $209 investments I've ever made. I find it is extremely hard to play video games with a giant dick in your ass.

I almost went with a glock and a XDm, but I said F*CK it. If I want one I better get it before Obama does. I am already looking at another in .357, most likely an airweight.

yeah, i went with a .40 sig saur, and i now have a xeon light mounted to it. i will be buying something slimmer, so i can conceal and carry in the car at all times. and i think i'll be getting a pistol grip 12 gage shotty too; should go well with my ak :) and the next step is to stock up on ammo for all my guns before the new regs go into affect.

What kind of AK do you have?
Good luck on finding/buying ammo right now 7.62X39 is rough to find. Its getting better but not anywhere near it needs to be.
