 Used Cars? Was looking at a few used cars this week since I really need to replace my old piece of shit. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the following cars:
Hyundai Santa Fe
Honda Element
Kia Soul
Land Rover Freelander
Chrysler 300 [this is my fav so far]
I know they are mix bunch but I don't tend to gravitate to the norm, I guess thats why I like Waffles and Sneaky, :)!

In all seriousness, go with a Honda. They're cheaper to maintain, will get better fuel economy, and will likely outlast all of the other vehicles you mentioned. My second pick is the land rover, but the only practical use for any sort of land rover is going offroad. If you buy one, take it offroad on a regular basis or I will hunt you down and stab you in the face.

actually gman i have experience with landrovers and the freelander is not much of an offroad vehicle. it's a soccer mom landrover. just like the H3. I agree with honda though. fuel economy FTW!!!

I can tell you one thing, unless the Santa fe is a 2006 or newer, dont but it. There will built like shit before then. Kia soul? more junk. The 300 im sure is a 300M and if so it's a great car, the 300C is nice too but they had some electrical problems. Land rover is nice but keep in mind that if something goes wrong with it then it will cost you more to fix it up. Cost of ownership should be a factor when looking at used cars. Before you make a deal make sure you get semi-new tires and breaks on these cars, and a full tank of gas. Dont let these mom and pop shops screw you. If possible, buy from a big dealer like Saturn or something. Dont buy a car from a used car lot. They tend to buy wholesale pieces and clean em up a lil bit and sell em. Those are the cars that most dealers wont sell. LOL Honda element is a good car, if you like that style anyway. The car itself is very dependable, just looks a little funny IMO. Good Luck.
