More custom maps have been added to the rotation, including 737, backalley, estate, scoutsknives, and quite a few other old ones.

FAST DOWNLOADS IS NOW WORKING AS IT SHOULD. Map downloads are approx. 10-15 seconds max depending on size.

When the main server fills, you should have it auto connect the attempting players to the Elite server.

That's no longer possible, as valve's done away with execclient commands. which means no redirects. you can no longer force a client to connect to another server no even bind "mouse1" "kill" anymore.

More than likely we won't be giving out anymore admin spots, because it doesn't help traffic to begin with, and I'd like to keep the admins limited on the server to one's I know come in all the time and because they want to, not because the main server is down. Those who were given admin so far have been given admin for those reasons alone. Maybe everyone else can pay for admin per month or something. Whether it makes money or not really doesn't matter to me, but I've noticed when you put a price on something, people tend to respect it more when they buy it and not abuse it. For full admin it'll be only $5 a month.

of course they are, as the main servers runs from gameservers, and the elite, funmaps, tf2, quakeworld, q2 servers run off electricimpulse.net's servers. those are considered donations to pay off the elite server and the box that hosts it. the only thing that relates the main to the elite, is the name, and people who join it. it is not administrated through admins from n00bfest in general. however, any donations given to electric impulse for the elite server would of course be very beneficial in keeping the elite, and all its servers up as well. By donating to EIS, you're bound to make brownie points with n00bfest, but since it is basically run by n00bfest members and staff, your contributions don't go unnoticed by any means and does not mean it will never earn our consideration for references of selfless service.

so would a donation to EIS get admin to more than one of the n00bfest servers on EIS? or is it $5 per server? and i don't want you to thinik i'm trying to be an ass by asking these questions. i'm asking because i'm most likely going to donate, because i do enjoy the elite server (and soon the fun maps server) and i want to contribute.

good question, i havent really thought about multiple admin accounts for single donations. I've talked it over with geno, and we've decided that donating will get you admin on any of the cs/n00bfest related servers. So it's only $5 once a month for all servers. i understand your questions so im not in any way offended. we appreciate your interest.

We should probably get together on this and coordinate. If people are paying one fee for one set of servers and one fee for another set, the rules and charges should be the same.

I might consider doing that myself. Though I'm broke like 99% of the time because of bills and commuting to college. But if all goes well, I'll be paying around mid-summer depending if I get a new job or not haha. For mine and n00bfest's sake (though more mine since it's a small contribution) let's hope I do.
