My new truck, a few pics
Got a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi, woo!
The all so famous front view: It came with a little wind deflector that shines like a diamond in a goat's butt.
Also came with the running boards along the side with the dodge symbol on the steps:
LOL @ my reflection in the tailgate, hehe. It's the Texas Lone Star edition 4X4...Oddly, they wouldn't accept a Lone Star card.
Shiny bitch! You can see my Durango on the side of that one, hehe. It also has a Hemi, woot.
I got the rubber mats because of all the freakin mess that my durango has on its carpet.
It's a quad cab, so it's family friendly. I didn't want to pay an extra 6 grand for the mega cab, which adds about 20 inches to the cab, pfft. That's like 300 bucks for each inch of space!
That's it! I'm going to get a scooped hood on it in January or February and some kind of air intake, maybe Mopar. Probably get dual exhaust too and a spoiler along the back and, uhm, whatever those bars are called that go along the side of the bed. If I can talk the wife into it, I'll get a supercharger in that bitch too so I can smoke some tires, WOO! ---->Clicky! http://3rdstrike.biz/cart/index.php?mai ... ed15471e8d That'd be awesome, but it's just a dream at the moment, heh.

My wife would gladly pay $300 each for some extra inches.

For once, a post was hilarious and self-demoralizing without me editing it.
Kudos, Corpsey.
Coach, your truck is hot.

We should race, well at least as long as you keep it stock. I can take out most people on the road with a Hemi(not the chargers & other cars), if they start putting money under the hood then I am in trouble. One guy had basically the same truck as you. I took him in about a half mile when we got stuck at the next red light he asked how many miles I have on my beast. When I told him I had just over 100,000 he was like, "GTFO!" Then I told him how much $$$$ I had under the hood.
Don't be afraid to get that little girl dirty. Being able to go fast is nice and all, but nothing beats going 60mph through a freshly thrashed cornfield.
This is what I have done to mine thus far;
True duel Flowmaster "D" serires (I think they are d, and my tailpipes got ripped off this summer.
Throttle body spacer
I had a K&N cold air intake but took it out because of MAF sensor being a HOMOSEXUAL last month looking for another MAF sensore that will work (not as good as ram air, but cheap)
K&N filter
92 octane chip with computer adjustments to shift points
Aftermarket Flex Fan (for better cooling pleasure)
Aftermarket tranny cooler (I like my chicks with dicks to be cool)
I don't have any more plans at the moment. I though about taking her up an inch or two, but I'm not sure. Definitely looking at new tires this month and need to replace my edlbroch shocks out, $110 a piece, ouch!
