Anyone else think this is more of a political move than selecting the right person for the job??

IMO, their setting her up to be the next president. I don't like the Clintons very much and I think Hillary is a power hungry bitch much like many other politicians. I don't see why he would select her unless he had to for political reasons, such as making sure all the Congressional Democrats vote like he wants them to including those who are more loyal to the Clintons.

No shit, wtf has she done in her political career to qualify for that position? Senate since 2000? Condoleezza was gaining foreign policy experience in the late 80's and was nominated for SoS just a few years ago. Clinton's foreign policy experience??

It's just bullshit, nobody in the real world can get a job of that caliber if they have a friend that did something similar...They're handing out these positions like they're candy to people under qualified.

Well she did do a lot when she was First Lady for what, 8 F*CKING years, such as her lead on a committee on National Health Care Reform as well as her overall of the Arkansas education system when she was first lady there too. You can't just strip her of all shit, plus she isn't a AFRICAN AMERICAN ether.

Then make her Secretary of Education, or Secretary of Health and Human Services.

This is an obvious move to make her resume for president more complete. LIke you said her domestic qualifications are overwhelming, all she needs is foreign policy experience. Now after Obama steps down she can step up with a complete resume under her belt and the Republicans can't say anything unless she messes up while Obama is in office.

I think the Democrats see an oppurtunity to retain control of the presidency for the next 4 terms. The troops are coming home during Obama's administration whether the gov't wants them to or not since the Iraqi gov't just voted and decided they want US troops out by 2011. I'm sure the economy will come around during his term(s) whether he actually changes something or not. So it looks like clear sailing for the Dems as long as they don't mess up.
