Blah Blah blah, you started it... Oh and now I'm acting the woman? ROFL. You insulted everyone’s parents and older generations many of whom are the older members of this community while you slyly attempted to undermine my opinion of your opinion. You try to talk an intelligent game, but you slip into your masturbation and fantasy girl land quips which really throw a wrench into the mix of conversation and debate.

I did not take your previous post as a specific question to myself, but the short answer is we are all responsible. every man woman and child. Especially those who are of voting age and older and those who blindly cast a vote or choose not to participate I feel are more responsible than most.

Sorry bout your parents, I lost my father just over 11 years ago Nov 2nd. I did feel you were insulting many, aside from myself. You did call my parents out in an indirect way and did insult others as evident from Geno, Supers, Mikes, State, and anyone else with a parent, grandparent, etc.etc.etc. You of all people I thought would be smart enough to see that. I think you really do know what you did.

I'm glad I can make you laugh during times like this, but I was not leaning towards F*CKING hilarious in my tone.

Older people are by in large smarter than the youth, if your in school and can vote, this is common sense for most people. Only the arrogant would think as you do. Which brings me to one of your biggest flaws.

Grow up and use that brain for something more than a bully pulpit spew generator.

You know the old saying, mess with the bull?

Of course I insulted the older generation just like you insulted the younger generations... I thought you would be able to see that. So please explain the difference....

How are children responsible? How is anyone under 18 responsible? Or for 21 for that matter? They have had no say on the politics and economy of this country.

You say older people are smarter but honestly it's only an opinion and is certainly not common sense by any means. Sure they have experience but where has that gotten this country? Why is this country in this position? Why are 100,000's of people losing their jobs every month? Why are companies outsourcing jobs to other countries? Why is our economy in such bad shape? Why are we fighting a 2 front war when it wasn't even necessary? Obama just got elected 2 days ago, these problems were already in place.

Your opinion on my arrogance is just that, an opinion. I'm merely taking on the other side of the argument in which no one here seems to be able to handle to the same degree as you handle your side.

I am grown and I use my intelligence in various ways just like I'm sure you do outside of these forums.

As far as my quips well thats just the way I am. Nothing on these forums are so serious that I cant throw in a joke here and there. BTW, those aren't 'fantasy' girl land quips, but who cares.

Bully pulpit spew generator? Really? Not trying to insult you but all you do is post links I really haven't heard any real discussion here. Sure minor insults and apparently there are a lot of people with the ability to see future events but really no debate here.

So again why would the majority of America vote for such a liberal candidate if not only because they feel this country is not doing what it's supposed to do?

I was wondering what took you so long to make a post. I was just making a reference to the electoral vote. All I heard from people was "Oh, it might be close, it might be close, you don't know..." It was annoying to say the least. I just found it amusing how wrong they were.

Oh and your right, the one time $600 check from Bush is so much better.

Fortunately for myself I don't have to worry about finding a job like 99% of other people, I'll always have options as far as that goes.

I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA

Haha you bro i didnt get a $600 check i had to pay 6k in taxes next year now that Obama is in charge it will be alot more.

To pay more under Obama (income over $250,000) you would have had to pay over $68,000 in taxes this past year.

Everyone who makes under $90,000 benefits more from Obama's tax policy than under McCain's. If you make over that amount but under $250,000, then your taxes will still fall (or stay stationary) but not as much as they would under McCain. If you make over $250,000 then congratulations; unfortunately you will be taxed more.

I don't think anyone denies that Obama will (at least in theory, although it's not the president who decides tax policy) raise taxes on the highest income bracket. What's always ignored or overlooked by the critics, though, is that for the majority of Americans, his proposed tax cuts are larger than McCain's.

Plus, your taxes are going towards paying for free community college for future generations. Imagine how different things would be if the average American had a college education.

Please stop acting like there was any difference in McCain and Obama.

How fitting you should bring up the subject.

When you all grow up and start paying taxes, you'll understand why this is a bad thing. In fact, some of the things Obama will do while he's president will likely impact this country for decades. With a dem controlled house, senate, and white house, taxes and spending will go unchecked and liberal ideals and socialism will begin to take hold.

I agree 100% that Obama will increase spending and that he will probably attempt to implement a lot of socialist policies. I don't think McCain would have been much better though. Based on the last century of Republican Presidents every single one of them has increased spending. The most fiscally responsible President was probably Clinton. I think the real choice between Republicans and Democrats is if you want the government to spend money on war or on socialism.

Young voters came out for Obama by the millions. They don't understand the impact it has on the people who pay the taxes in this country. If I were in my twenties, he would be my pick. The fact is, the real impact a president has on the country is not typically felt by the 20-somethings. It's felt by the people that pay the majority of taxes in this country and spend the most money in the shopping malls and fast food joints, creating jobs for the 20-somethings.

I don't necessarily believe that Obama will implement his plan as he laid it out in his campaign, but if he were to taxes for the majority (97.5%) of American would be reduced.

Am i the only one that thinks it's racist that 96% of blacks voted for Obama? Do 96% of them really agree with his politics, or did they just vote for the black guy regardless of policy? On the other hand, whites voted nearly 50/50, showing a lack of racism in their voting.

I thought the same thing until you realize that in 2004 88% of blacks voted for John Kerry so a lot of them really do stand with the democrats (plus they are poor so what do you expect).

McCain would suck bigtime. The only reason I was pulling for him was to avoid the unchecked democrat trifecta of house, senate, and white house. This eliminates the balance of the two party system and could take us back to the Carter days. Clinton was an exception to the rule when it comes to Dem presidents. For those that haven't experienced a FEW dem presidents, don't rely on the Clinton administration to set the bar for all dems. Clinton walked into a good situation and he managed it well.

Obama is walking into a shit situation and has the power of the dem party heavily behind him. Lets all hope he doesn't completely blow it and set us up with 17% interest rates, gas lines, 10% unemployment, and international shame.

I still blame Bush. If he hadn't been such a stubborn ass over the past few years, there would have been a chance for a republican to win. At this point, I don't think it mattered who was on the ticket, NO republican could win against ANY democrat in this election. Bush made sure of that.

Agreed, I had that concern as well. I hope he'll show some backbone as far as dealing with Pelosi/Reid; hopefully now that he's done with the election he'll be able to pull a bit towards the center.

The Democrats didn't get the filibuster majority they needed in the senate or as many seats as they were hoping for in the House, I think this is a sign that although America knows we need to take care of business and believe in Obama they don't trust Democrats as a whole, which is definitely a good thing.

Sad, but true, even Hilary Clinton would have won against McCain, had that been the case... Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_38

I think McCain would have had a good chance if he hadn't picked Palin. When he picked Palin he lost the ability to point out that Obama hasn't been instrumental in a single piece of important legislation and that his talk of "change" might be entirely bullshit. Because Palin's experience is just as thin he lost the ability to just call Obama out.

The crappy turn that our economy has made in the last few months didn't help either. I think its funny that so many people turn to the democrats when the economy is doing bad. If you are anti government assistance at least stick to your guns in the good times and the bad.

I honestly don't think the democrats will get shit down now either. They have had the majority in the House and the Senate for 2 years now and have made no real attempts to get anything done (sure, they might get vetoed, but at least try).

Also, the two party system sucks. We were stuck with two suboptimal choices (I really hope the Republicans get a better pick in 2012) and picking a shitty President with our shitty economy can only turn out shitty. That being said Canada's non-two party system has screwed them over so I don't know really know what the solution is.
