He is a very good speaker, but he never says ANYTHING. He talks about this "change", however he doesn't even know what it is, or when it will come. He even said it won't come in his term, but he is the key to it. He thinks he is going to start some kind of revolution, which will not happen.

He is also pushing for "change", however when he was in senate, he NEVER VOTED FOR ANYTHING. anything that was for change he would choose present. How does he plan on changing anything if he never did his job as a senator, by far easier calls than being the president. Bottom line is he is not ready to even be in office, even if he was a good candidate.

1) He's a politician. Politicians know how to speak and not say anything. Instead of lying like every other politician he spoke of Change. Which is worse? Personally, I hate liars.

2) How hard is it to be a senator? McCain voted for Bush policies 90% of the time. How much work was involved in that? "Was dat masta? wat u want masta? Yes masta, whateva u say masta." I ask you, who is the real AFRICAN AMERICAN?

3) Change. You can take his speeches in many ways but I'll outline two. First, you could just say he's full of crap just like every other politician. This is the view taken by people who don't like him. If it's true then who cares, nothing special is going to happen just like so many other presidencies.

Second, you can believe that what he is saying is the truth and he will bring the change needed to DC that is needed to get things done. In order to get things done he's not going to be on good terms with everyone in DC so he's not going to talk about what he's planning on doing. Why should he talk about what programs he's going to cut before being elected? Thats retarded, he'd alienate all those associated with those projects.

The irony of this whole ordeal is the old people saying that the young people don't understand. First of all Obama won in every age range except the 65 and older. Second he carried 43% of the white vote pretty much the same as the past few democratic candidates.

But why the hell would a candidate who preached change win the election? BECAUSE THE GOV'T IS FUCKED UP!!!! Everyone knows it, but does nothing. Why is it fucked up? Young people didn't F*CK it up. First of all most young people weren't old enough to vote and those that are were too busy getting drunk like their parents showed them how to do and chasing around pu$$y and dick. So who fucked up? The F*CKING old people!!! Where the hell do these old ass fucks get off talking down to young people about not knowing their ass from a hole in the ground when it's their fault we're in this situation?

If you ask me I think we should take away their social security and kick them in the face for letting tobacco companies become so powerful that we'll never get rid of them.

When are the people of this country going to finally take responsibility and acknowledge accountability for their actions? Hasn't happened under the rule of white people. Maybe a half breed who wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth and actually worked his way to where he is now is what this country needs.

Ozark, if you voted for Obama, you are Ignorant... I know you can't help it... I think you got the girl gene for getting all emotional and shit.

I know Obama supporters are SO proud right now. Bah, we will see who has the last laugh. Obama will fail and the country will collapse into a deep depression and racial divide… watch the financial markets, they are tanking because they have no confidence in Obama. They do not think he is the right person in place. You all made your bed, now you must lie in it… The old ass fucks will just sit back and laugh… Vision is acting just like I expect most young blacks will now… We were right, you were wrong, we have the power and are uppity and C*CK now. Our policy and mandate for change is international. Don’t talk shit because you are wrong because Obama won. Already happened today at work, black Obama supporter punched a McCain supporter in the cafeteria, and my daughter told me about a group of black girls who now just roam around the school yelling out Obamas name and one of them attacked her teacher (a women) today in class when the teacher attempted to tell these students to calm thier attitudes down and really how ignorant they were on Obamas platform issues, and this is only day one, it will only get worse with time. And the only F*CK up was when Visions parents bore a disrespectful little shit and sent him to school on thier dime and he still has failed to contribute anything significant to society other then his dissenting vote for a anti-american president. Maybe you do have an e-penis after all. Why don't you just try to kick me in the face... I am right here in Tampa... How ignorant to blame tobacco companies on the elderly and then threaten them with violence... You have just been flagged by the elderly against ignorant youth big brother intelligence team.

Obama IS the most liberal U.S. senator in history.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/20 ... in-claims/

Fact Check: Is Obama the most liberal U.S. senator in history, as McCain claims?

Statement:
Sen. John McCain, speaking at the University of Mississippi debate on September 26, said Sen. Barack Obama "has the most liberal voting record in the United States Senate."
Get the facts!
Facts:
The National Journal magazine, in its annual vote rating, said Obama moved left last year to the "most liberal senator" rating "after ranking as the 16th and 10th most-liberal during his first two years in the Senate."
Americans for Democratic Action, the liberal activist group, and the American Conservative Union, the conservative activist group, also rate Congress members on their votes. Their findings describe Obama as one of, but not the most liberal U.S. senator.
The ADA gave Obama a 75 percent liberal score in 2007, 95 percent in 2006 and 100 percent in 2005. Other Democratic senators received 100 percent during those years. David Card, ADA communications director, said Obama's score was lower last year because he missed certain votes.
Obama has a lifetime ADA average of 90 percent. Other senators — such as Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and others — have higher lifetime ADA ratings. Kerry, the Democratic presidential candidate in 2004, was ranked as the most liberal senator by the National Journal in 2003.
"He is one of the most liberal senators," Card said, referring to Obama.
The ACU, which customarily places conservative Republicans on the top of its list and liberal Democrats at the bottom, has given Obama a lifetime ranking of just 7.67, according to the figures on the group's Web site.
It says Obama scored 8 percent in 2005, 8 percent in 2006 and 7 percent in 2007. Other Democratic senators in the ACU rankings have had lower yearly and lifetime scores, the site shows.
"He's one of the most liberal," said Larry Hart, the ACU director of government relations.

Verdict: True, according to National Journal, but liberal and conservative rating groups reached a slightly different conclusion.

Dear Jubilant Socialists,

Hate to be the one to break it to ya, but Capitalism has produced more common wealth than Socialism and Communism added together, then multiplied times their weight, then squared.

you can kiss goodbye The BEST Health Care in the world and your ability TO BE ALL THAT YOU CAN BE. You voted for a man who stated that he wants to BANKRUPT!!! the coal industry! The very industry that provides us with jobs and 50% of our electricity! That plays right into OBAMA's friends hands from the PLO, and those that would love to see AMERICA energy dependent on countries that hate us.

Obama’s hidden past, his lies, his radical, racist, criminal, terrorist associations and crooked organizations will come back to haunt him and all those who voted for Obama.

Why don't you tell us exactly what Obama plans on changing? We keep hearing this, change, change, change well, we want specifics. The new guy is not going to do anything but mess us up some more. WE are doomed.

The Germans voted for "change", and the Cubans voted for "change"....Don't think they got the "changes" they expected!!!

NOW WE WILL HAVE A TERRORIST APPEASING LIEING RACIST IN THE WHITEHOUSE.

OBAMA WILL PUT THIS COUNTRY IN THE WORST DEPRESSION SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION.

Am i the only one that thinks it's racist that 96% of blacks voted for Obama? Do 96% of them really agree with his politics, or did they just vote for the black guy regardless of policy? On the other hand, whites voted nearly 50/50, showing a lack of racism in their voting.

Yeah it's a little racist. But hey, if somebody were running that you really identified with, then you'd probably want to vote for them too. But think about how many people aren't fully educated because of how things get wrapped up in the media, and just pick the candidate who is from the same party as them. Unfortunately, schools aren't required to teach things that are occurring on a daily basis.

On terms of spending, I'd say democratic presidents spend probably just as much as republican presidents. Hell, the last (D) president we had created a surplus, while his successor spent it.

Blame it on the young people, though. 99.9999% of us young people think being black is cool (i.e. wiggers).

Who's getting emotional? I was just kidding... If you think I'm ignorant because I disagree with you, that's fine, I really don't care.

As for the rest, to each their own, everyone has different opinions on how the country should be run and who should run it. It just so happens that more people thought a democratic president was the way to go for now. Who knows, maybe in 4 or 8 years it'll change.

And since I'm one of those 20 something college students, Obama's redistribution of wealth helps me for at least the next 4 -8 years, until I start making 6 figures. By then someone else will be in office. This works out very well for me.

Please keep the posts less than a full screen of text, OMFG thats too much shit to read.

In order for the two party system to work effectively, we have to shift back and forth. It just irritates me to see the celebration of the media (that denied they were helping him) and nobody linking his election to the decline in the market. It's been back and forth, back and forth, and now a plunge with no "forth" afterwards. Businesses will be cutting back in advance of his tax increases, further slowing the economy and putting the squeeze on ALL citizens. We can unite behind him as a people, but his policies scare companies and make them stop spending money on growth, expansion, and re-investment.

The reason McCain can't use a computer is because his arms were broken while he was a POW/crash landed, and because he probably has arthritis. I'm sure he has the mental capacity to use a computer.

Your F*CKING hilarious Durango. You asked if you touched a nerve with me but I don't even have to ask since your trying to insult my parents and myself. Control yourself your acting like a woman.

You never even attempted to answer my question of whose fault is it that our country is in the mess we're in. Like I said it's not the youth..... if it's not the ignorant youth then which ignorant fools fault is it? Answer the question.

As far as my parents their dead. They've been dead for almost as long as i've been alive. I'm not disrespecting anyone. Did I name any names? Did I call out your parents? Did I insult you or anyone else on this thread? Have I ever insulted anyone ever on n00bfest? (Except Seiji, that kid's a punk)

Why do older people think their so much smarter than the youth? They were young once too. Obviously not enough of them raised their children 'right' because they voted for Obama.

Genocide

I was wondering what took you so long to make a post. I was just making a reference to the electoral vote. All I heard from people was "Oh, it might be close, it might be close, you don't know..." It was annoying to say the least. I just found it amusing how wrong they were.

Oh and your right, the one time $600 check from Bush is so much better.

Fortunately for myself I don't have to worry about finding a job like 99% of other people, I'll always have options as far as that goes.

Corpsehumper

First, thanks for not banning me Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_06
Second, I agree with you that with the two party system it's set up so that we do go back and forth.

I have to ask your thoughts on the +100,000 jobs being lost every month throughout 2008 and the additional 500,000 jobs predicted to be lost before Obama takes office. And the housing crisis which I stated before is causing the economic slump. Why would McCain be better suited to handle this situation? It seems apparent that the Republicans don't really care about what's happening to the middle class.

To Everyone.

My OP was intended to get a rise out of some people on n00bfest considering the many conservatives we have on here. Although admittedly I expected a more amusing response from Geno, I seemed to have sparked a fire underneath Durango. I only made that response to you Durango to see how far you would go. You went further and more personal than I expected. It just goes to show how much we don't know the people on the other side of the screen. It's funny because most people who do know me consider me annoyingly conservative on most issues except for education, religion, and healthcare for minors. Also, they consider me highly tolerant and overly respectful to other people. Oh, and let me restate one thing:

I DID NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA
