When you all grow up and start paying taxes, you'll understand why this is a bad thing. In fact, some of the things Obama will do while he's president will likely impact this country for decades. With a dem controlled house, senate, and white house, taxes and spending will go unchecked and liberal ideals and socialism will begin to take hold.

Obama might actually be good for our self image, though. He is certainly good for our world image, and possibly good for our foreign relations. We need those things right now. Unfortunately, he will be bad for our economy and bad for our capitalism.

If we're lucky, he will go lightly and not try to "change" too much because he will only guarantee that no other black guy or democrat will make it to the white house for many many years to come.

Young voters came out for Obama by the millions. They don't understand the impact it has on the people who pay the taxes in this country. If I were in my twenties, he would be my pick. The fact is, the real impact a president has on the country is not typically felt by the 20-somethings. It's felt by the people that pay the majority of taxes in this country and spend the most money in the shopping malls and fast food joints, creating jobs for the 20-somethings.

Am i the only one that thinks it's racist that 96% of blacks voted for Obama? Do 96% of them really agree with his politics, or did they just vote for the black guy regardless of policy? On the other hand, whites voted nearly 50/50, showing a lack of racism in their voting.

The media is celebrating gleefully, which should tell everyone something. I've heard reporters talk about how they were moved to tears when they saw the results. These same people were pretending just last week that they were impartially reporting on both candidates.

Now... I blame Bush. If he hadn't turned everyone against republicans so badly, this never would have happened.

What Corpse said... Now let's see what real and good "change" this messiah can bring.

And the way I see it Vision, you have about 48% of America who don't agree with you or Obama, and he is not president yet... There is still time for him to eat lead before he is sworn in.

And for the record, look at how he did it, why they supported Obama and who his base was/is and I don't think I would want to be bragging about how Obama won and/or McCain lost, or that I was one of his ignorant base who made this huge error.

Let's give him some time to see if he is assassinated and or fails miserably in his first two years if he even makes it that long. Just wait for all his shit to make it's way to the media surface now, post election.

This is truly a win for republicans! No more affirmative action. No more shit about whitey holding the black man down. No more African America/democrats in office ever again.

Obama is a pawn and will be pooned when the time is Wright. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_02

the 48% represent the haves, and the 52% the have nots. It's doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where the power really lies. The 52% percent are largely made up of the poor, racial minorities and ignorant youth voters. You’ll fit right in with them. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_19

From my vision from Canada... I think exactly like corpse...

Obama for the world image... but after that.... I don't know... He's probably smart... that is not the point.... but I hope he won't change EVERYthing in a year.... changes... take a while.... a long time.... and he must understand that I think...

I am in class right now... a leadership class and the teacher said something very interresting... There is a black president before a woman.... that's right....

My 2 cents with a lot of mistakes :P

AGREED!

WHY I VOTED DEMOCRAT:

I voted Democrat because health care is so expensive that we should have the government pay for it. If it keeps getting more expensive, they can just print some more money

I voted Democrat because I would rather people be unemployed than to have to work for less than a living wage. I mean, how can you justify letting anyone work for an nonliving wage? It would bring on the zombie apocalypse.

I Voted Democrat because I would rather live more comfortably now than worry about providing a legacy for my children.

I Voted Democrat because I don't think that someone should have to move just because some lender let them borrow too much money to buy a house that they couldn't really afford. All their stuff is already there.

I Voted Democrat because I want the rest of the world to like us. It makes me feel all hokey to think that there are people out that there don't like us.

I Voted Democrat because English has no place being the official language in America.

I Voted Democrat because I think the government will do a better job of spending my money than I could.

I Voted Democrat because I believe businesses in America should not be allowed to make profits. Businesses should just break even and give the rest to the government so politicians and bureaucrats can redistribute the money the way they think it should be redistributed.

I Voted Democrat because when someone with a weapon threatens my family or me, I know the government can respond faster through a call to 911 than I can with a gun in my hand.

I Voted Democrat because Christians in the Republican Party are intolerant, theocratic warmongers; and atheists like William Ayers have never hurt anybody.

I Voted Democrat because everyone knows that raising taxes at the top won't hurt people at the bottom.

I Voted Democrat because I want the rich to work harder, give me their money, and pay for my services so I don't have to.

I Voted Democrat because I'm not driven enough to realize my dreams without the government holding my hand the entire way.

I Voted Democrat because life just isn't fair and I deserve what other people have without working for it.

I Voted Democrat because I want them to take my 401k plan and use it for investments and give me a bond with 3% interest

You want change? Get the F*CK off the couch and get a job, stop living off welfare.

I didn't vote for Obama as much as I voted against McCain. Personally I don't trust McCain's experience with regards to technology. We are entering a crucial stage in the development of the internet where many laws expected to be updated to catch up with technology. I really don't want someone who publicly claims to have never used E-mail deciding the future of the internet. Also, McCain has a high probability of dieing in office simply due to his age. I really really don't want Palin to set foot anywhere NEAR the white house.

And since I'm one of those 20 something college students, Obama's redistribution of wealth helps me for at least the next 4 -8 years, until I start making 6 figures. By then someone else will be in office. This works out very well for me.

As far as "people who voted for Obama are young and ignorant", how about him winning every single age category except 65 and over? Maybe the truth is that only elderly reactionaries voted for McCain...Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_31

Also, as far as "people who voted for Obama are either poor or don't have to pay taxes", how about Obama soundly winning the highest income bracket of over $200,000/year?

If he gets assassinated... Then we'll have another 18968 years of conspiracy theories. We won't even have enough Internet for conspiracy theories regarding both JFK and Obama.

But on the bright side, if he does get assassinated, that'll show Amerikans that it isn't time for a AFRICAN AMERICAN in office, and we won't have to worry about such a catastrophe for a long while.

He doesn't even know what he is going to do for this "change" and he has admitted it.

good job guys

EDIT:
some one told me Obama was great because there would be peace... he's not going to achieve that.

A lot of stupid people voted for Obama. I asked some one their reasoning: his wife shares my name.
or I was moved by his speech. when I asked what he had said they responded with "I don't know, but it was moving."

What 20-somethings work in malls and fast food joints? Unless their just holding a part-time job while their in school. Those jobs are for teenagers and people who didn't feel it was necessary to do good in school.

Are blacks rascist? Yes. So is every other race to some degree. Just because the white vote was 50/50 nationwide doesn't mean that there aren't areas which were more slanted.
Frankly, I don't see why whites and blacks are making such a big deal about it, Obama is both. To me it just shows how ignorant Americans still are.

Bush was a moron most of the country would agree to that but he can't be too damn stupid because he got to do whatever he wanted and no one did anything about it.

DurangoKiD wrote:

The popular vote means nothing, the electoral vote matters. That's the way the American people wanted it so that's the way it is. McCain got slaughtered.

Oh, you've probably just been flagged by the gov't.

And exactly how did he do it? American politics is all about winning, all sides do whatever it takes to win. To call in to question his ethical behaviour during the election and not question McCain's and Palin's ethics or any other politicians ethics for that matter is laughable!

I'm not part of his ignorant base.

Once again you've been flagged by the gov't. Sounds like your a little bitter and maybe planning something? I'm sure they'll be tapping your phone lines soon.

It's going to take him at least 2 years just to try to fix the mess that Bush left him. I don't envy him nor McCain if he would have won.

Everybody has shit their hiding especially politicians. We only frown upon the ones that get caught.

What about Native Americans? Oh wait,! We don't count we're segregated from the rest of the population, nevermind.

I'm going to take this statement in jest just because it's coming from you.

1) I'm not poor and neither are most of my family except the white trash side and who cares about white trash anyway.

2) I'll also assume that you weren't making a racial statement about my ethnicity. As a white person you should know better than to type something like that.

What exactly is so wrong with minorities banding together? Sounds like the conservative white just got a glimpse of the future of this country. And it doesn't seem like their in the picture anymore.

3) I'm not young enough to be considered the youth vote. Although I do sleep with a lot of 20 something girls and most of them say that my real dad must of been black.

4) Bad flamer, bad!

"Assumption is the mother of all F*CK ups"

You assumed I was young. You assumed I am ignorant. You assumed I was poor. You assumed I voted for Obama.

None of these statements are true.

Why are you crying out that Obama is going to ruin this country? How can he do any worse than what's been going on for years in Washington D.C.? Do you think McCain knows how to handle the housing crisis and Wall Street any better than Obama? I seriously call into question McCain's choice for VP and therefore any other choices he would make for advisors.

Do you think that Obama won't handle a terrorist attack any better than McCain? Sure McCain will get all pissy and want to nuke everyone but is that really the answer? Why are we in Iraq? I forgot. Is it because Obama is black? Shit black people are aggressive their always looking to fight. What have you seen in Obama that would cause you to think that he can't protect this country adequately? Just because you can fly a fighter jet doesn't mean you can command the whole squadron.

I ask you what's wrong with a little socialism? Capitalism isn't looking so hot right now. 8 years the Bush Administration has let Big Companies do what they want and look where it got us. Companies sending jobs overseas and to Mexico. A housing crisis that has put thousand's of people out of their homes and toppled banks who knew that what they were doing was wrong but didn't care because of the huge profits they were making. Still you defend unchecked Capitalism?

I only posted because I thought it was funny how McCain actually thought he had a chance after picking Palin. For me that was when I knew Obama had won for sure.

If anything it will be refreshing to see someone who actually looks the part and can at least appear to be the Leader of the Free World.

40.2 million
As of July 1, 2006, the estimated population of black residents in the United States, including those of more than one race. They made up 13.4% of the total U.S. population. This figure represents an increase of half a million residents from one year earlier.

The funniest part is that the Hispanics are out-populating everyone else and there'll probably be a hispanic president in my lifetime unless America destroys itself.

The best part about it is that the only reason why these two minorities are even in this country with those types of numbers is because white men were looking for cheap labor. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHHAHHAHAHAHHAA F*CKING idiots.

Don't let America fool you, it's still full of a bunch of bloody wanks.
