 New Comp Set Up
so here's the deal i had my hdd's set in raid 0 and one of them crashed on me so i lost everything but no big deal i took out the fried hdd and now I'm running off of one 250 gig. so i decided it was a time for an upgrade i took my hole computer apart and decided to rebuild it myself (which was rather fun). i didn't add anything new really beside a new 12cm fan in the back and replaced the stock CPU cooler with a zalman one.
so here's wat it looks like now:

http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp36 ... /013-1.jpg
http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp36 ... /014-1.jpg
its not much but its cheep and it can play all the latest games on high settings with good fps
o i forgot to say I'm waiting on 2 500 gigs to get here so i can place them in raid 1+0 or maybe just raid 0 again i really like the performance and ill use the 250 gig as a back up tell me wat u guys think

Looks clean man. Better cable management than mine has. Are you running dual video cards?
I'm just asking because I don't see any bridge connecting them? Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_21

Very nice and clean. I couldnt keep mine that clean my PS has too many damn cables.
I just bought 2 - 1TB drives for a raid 1 config for peace of mind. I'm in the process of trying to fill them up lol.

No shame in that! I've yet to have an actual soundcard in a PC I've built.

I'm not an expert on PS but I've read that modular cables are bad. I think since there's an added connection (where the cables plug into the PS) there is somewhat of a power loss so whatever you plug it into isnt getting enough power?? It's something like that. I'm OCD about my PS, I always buy high quality power supplies. Last thing I need is a PS failure or mishap and all my shit is dead.

Soundcard > a new PSU when you already have a PSU that works.

Who needs a soundcard? Get a entertainment system for your house when you want music / tv / movie on.

I've heard of the same thing that you're talking about Vision.
If you're going with a modular PSU I would just make sure to get more than you need that way you don't run into any problems. I have the Corsair TX750 and it has a pile of cables so I could see why a modular PSU would be appealing though.
