You know that's something I've been wanting to kinda get into? You've been ordering shit online or getting it local? Stuff to brew that is.

If you're seriously looking into doing it, you're gonna need about $300-500 for an initial investment. You should do some research on youtube.

Austin Homebrew is the best I've seen in my vast experience of two whole brew shops. I see a lot of references to them in other online resources though, and they have an excellent reputation.

The cool thing about Homebrew Headquarters in Dallas (Richardson) is - once you pick out a recipe, you go get the grains and mill them yourself. You can change the volume of each grain at your discretion, add or remove grains, and mill it to your own preference. In my case, I asked them to simply do it for me while I leaned over their shoulders and edited on the fly.

Overall, I recommend http://www.austinhomebrew.com for all your brewing needs. All my equipment and the ingredients for my first two batches of beer came from there and I have no complaints. They also have toll-free tech support (weird, I know).
