 Noobfest North Just curious as too what this server is i found it today when i was looking for the new cal map.
I have never heard of it before this though..

It's our new CAL-rotation server.
We have to update the mods and crap but it should be pretty packed.

Apok and I are working on it. The idea is having a large 30 slot server with awps (limited) and 16k, among other things. It's also hosted in Chicago. It's taking the place of the shotty server.

So, is this server going to make it? Shotty was awesome but didn't do so well. Will this be any different?
Regardless, I'll play on it just to get away from Dust2/Office, but I'll hate the AWP I'm sure.

I think a mid range amount of players(10-20) would provide the most fun on the map. Any more and both sides will camp at the chokepoints and wait till someone pushes, and any less it gets kinda boring and people start getting pissed if you shoot them repetitively round after round. But it's a nice little fun server and I'm going to try my best to keep it occupied.

As someone already pointed out, please restrict the max number of players. If it is something like 32, then it will just be like any other server...with people firing blindly like jackasses at choke points. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_21
I think 5 vs 5 Or 6 vs 6.
And of course the AWPs should keep the rest of the idiots out. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_08
Restricting AWPs to 1-2 per team would make sense
Also how about Auto assign being mandatory so that people dont stack.
