The better question is is your computer powerful enough to take advantage of it? I think 24" is the magical number where SLI or crossfire starts to offer an advantage. Having a 24" screen means jack if you get 10 FPS at native resolution.
Also, isn't it kinda pricey for a 24" monitor? On newegg there are some other 24" models for over 100 less. Granted, ASUS ia a great company, but is it worth $100 more?
i have a dell HD 24" widescreen monitor that i bought almost 2 years ago, and it cost me almost $700 for it. i love it though, so fun to play on.

i base all my purchases on customer reviews and tech reviews. Extremetech.com gave this monitor a bad ass review and this was the only one that i was looking at in which no one complained about dead pixels or bad customer service. I've had great luck with all my computer purchases doing it this way. My friend has bought shitty stuff and ended up paying more than me because he had to replace the parts.
