here's the scene:

for the past while, i've been driving my family's car around to get to and from places. most of my friends don't/can't drive so i usually offer them a ride if they really need it. in the past few months i have been planning and saving to buy myself a car so that i dont need to worry about not having one when i need one (i live in the suburbs btw, so if i wanna get around i do need one, nothing is in walking distance and their isnt much pulbic transportation in my area). so, i just bought myself a car (98 civic hatchback). im a student and still paying for school so i can't afford myself anything luxurious. now my family car is an automatic. and my civic is manual.

i've only had this car for 2 weeks now, and of course i won't b the smoothest driver in the world with so little experience. the first time i took it out, my friend needed a ride home so i offered and i told him that it is gonna b a bit shaky compared to usual. he said alrite and hopped in. so i drive him home and not a word of a lie, every single stop sign and red light i hit, he would complain about it being so jerky when i start up again. i already told him that it was gonna b like that, so i dont kno wat his problem was.

after that. on another occasion. mayb the 3rd day of having the car. he needed a drive home again. so, i offered and this time. my driving was alot better since by now i was pretty much able to drive stick fine. then suddenly he starts talking to my other passengers and saying how i paid so much ($4000) for such a crappy car. now this pissed me off alot. its a car that i paid for on my own, and tho its not luxurious, its a car that i do like. and its also my frist car. so a comment like this really threw me off the edge. and he continued to say shit after that too.

so wat i want to kno, is what would you have done in this situation? and i'd also like to kno what SHOULD have been done. cus i kno wat we would do is not always wat we should do.

Eff that. If he's going to complain about the ride he's getting. Tell him to buy his own damn car.

You don't have to be giving him rides. YOU bought the car, YOU pay for gas (I assume) HE doesnt pay shit. HE is lucky to have a friend who will drive him places

i would say something like, "yeah, i apologize that this car isn't quite as nice as yours, next time you should drive us" and when he say i don't have a car, say "oh yeah, you F*CKING HOMOSEXUAL! now shut up or walk bitch!"

seriously, people like this 1) are not your friend, because a friend would never talk shit like that with other passengers 2) should be sent back to nazi germany and roasted instead of the innocent jews.
