"Had to be member of forums for 5 months" i have never heard of the forums but do not wish to wait 5 months , is this really a necessity if I can prove maturity and I guess skill if that really has effect on getting in , I would enjoy being in the Clan on the Counter-Strike Source Division to help out HHBizzle he said alot of members arent over from the CZ yet so well , ya

NPPRO, the 5 month rule is very crucial.

Just stick around, play with us (not like that u pervert :twisted: ) and it'll all be cool. Hopefully more of us will get with the program and ditch the 2 bit lookin cz nonsense :twisted: and convert to source.

The 5 month rule is here for the soul purpose of keeping [n00b] a close-knit group of buddies. 5 months is a good time to make friends with all of the members here, and it's a rule we hold everyone to.

I thought the 5 month rule was one of those either/or things.

5 months on the forums or 5 month in the server.

I could be wrong though. Like the time I thought my weiner was small. I was wrong.

I always saw everyone understand it as five months in the board. But source itself isnt five months old so that kinda makes it a mute point in this case.

Thats if some of us can get(afford) a computer that can handle source properly

I have a fairly high-end machine. And it runs Source just fine (takes a bit to boot it up, but its beautiful). However, one of the reasons I play CZ so much is because when I get killed I minimize it and do whatever (check mail, install hacks, watch porn, etc) and then when I spawn the cursor pulls up all the way to the top-left and I know Its time to get back into the game and play. I can switch back to the game within a second and it doesnt take any time at all to come up. So by doing this I can do multiple things at once and I dont consider it spending ALL my time on playing.

When I try this with source (which I do instinctively) it takes a looongg time to minimize and then whenever I move back to the game (which is usually instantly being that Source rounds are super fast since you barely have to aim anymore, and because I usually didnt mean to minimize) I have to pray that my system doesnt crash and that the game comes up.

Other gripes with source include:
- Footsteps are barely audible anymore and they all sound the same way.
- The game is darker (IMO) and the enemies are hard to spot.
- Only 2 player models, and they are very similar so you're very likely to shoot your teammates.
- You die by just being looked at.
- Guns barely have recoil.
- The M4 is very very silent when it has the silencer on. I know its more "realistic" this way. But it only emphasizes the "first one to see his enemy is the one to win" nature of counter strike.
- No console
- Frankly all this sound glitches and lack of features make it seem like they were really lazy and didn't want to develop anything. Not even features that were in the previous version, I mean wtf?

Yes but , Source im sure they will come out with new skins soon , as in new player models as well as other junk. Plus people need to play on the n00b Server on CS:Source or else its just a waste of money right ? :) as in the Footsteps , i hear them fine , headphones are your friends... and um thats it really , as in the m4 , it is very silent , the who sees their enemy(HHbizzle) first wins i do not agree with tho because plenty of times i saw them first and died :)

The five month rule is in effect and yes we said if you can prove your five months it was fine, but after all the bickering and bullshit that was going on. I made the deciscion to make the forums the determining factor as it is hard evidence for everyone to see. However, like we have done in the past we do have special occasion voting.

And speaking of voting negro let's all get together this weekend and make our votes for the new members. We've got quite a few ppl I think that need to have votes cast on.

Corpse must've rebooted it and forgotten to put the servers back up. I put the monitor program in the startup folder so this shouldn't happen again.

They should be up within a minute or two.

the cz servers need updated for some reason and the update program is being a bitch.

Well something is wrong with server , its up but yet its saying when i try to connect "Unable to Verify Steam USER ID ( Problem connecting to Authenication server 35)" and im able to connect to other servers ... so whats up

I saw you join, and right as i was typing "sorry about the lag" in the console, it booted you.

Either the authentication servers are fucked up, the update servers are fucked up, or the gaming server is lagging.

It says CZ is outdated, but I can't update it. Both CZ and Source are booting people for not being authenticated. I don't know if that's because of a version issue or if something is fucked up somewhere else down the line. Source is updated; it doesn't tell me that it's an outdated protocol in the console, but it's still kicking people for no F*CKING reason.
