Well, my son turned 12 a few months ago and he and I like to go out shooting bottles and cans etc, maybe a squirrlel or black bird if we come across em. Been using the Daisy 880 which I've had about 20 years now and they still sell em.
Multi-Pump Rifle @ 750 FPS holds 50 BB or single shot pellets.
So he kept on me about buying him the new airsoft guns, so I took him out yesterday and we bought a few.
We picked up the Smith & Wesson On Duty Shotgun and Pistol combo kit.
19 round clip @ 325 FPS - Shotgun
14 round clip @ 282 FPS on the pistol
along with the Walther P22 Special Ops Pistol (they were all outa deagles :()
20 round clip @ 260 FPS
But after setting up the gel target board and going through a few dozen clips, I found these new "AirSoft" guns just didn't have the power to dent a coke can much less shatter a bottle or bust a nut on a squirrles head.
So I packaged them back up for thier return and ordered these bad boys.
Crosman Phantom 1000X single shot pellet rifle - break barrel action @ 1000 FPS
and the Crosman 1377C multi-pump pistol pushing single shot pellets at 600 FPS.
Just gotta wait on the UPS man now, then squirrels beware.
