Offering admin for cash. No. That means any C*CK that walks in here can get admin. Bad idea.

As far as events go. I have headed up the tourney section for a while. The last few tourneys I've come up with, no one showed up. People won by default, it was quite sad.

There was a tourney in the works that did offer prizes. Unfortunately it never did take off, but we can try it again, thats no problem.

I like the events ideas for holidays though, thats neat.

I like doing tourneys it's fun. but when your player base doesn't show up....a couple of times. It gets kinda pessimistic around that area to try and start another one.


I would also bring back the millennium falcon layout...but we had to use gay nuke. : p


As far as the old SANF attitude. It's actually dwindled a bit. I don't think we should silence the occasional racial slur, freedom of speech and all that jazz. : D

what about the tournament to take place over a span of time rather one day.. make it a cpl type of set up...

as in have a registration period where teams of 5minimum can sign up, then a schedule/roster period where a roster line up and date of scheduled game would be. Give it like a week or too before the first actuall game so incase the date is not good they can petition for a reschedule. play 1-3 games per week or so.

After the inital run and once it gets more popularity you can start playing for cash/prices, registration would cost a small fee per team(or player) and the winning team wins a price equal (or lesser) than the cash value

I loved the old school tourneys we used to have when Greenman was around. I don't think those types of tourneys would work anymore because I don't think n00bfest is a tight knit group of people like we used to be. I only see a handful of the same players on everyday compared to the old days when it was the same people every night.

I was hoping for more subclans if not for cal competition than for some inter-clan scrims and tourneys.

I'd like to see tourneys set up like what was mentioned above. Teams sign up and instead of playing on one day its a ladder tourney and matches must be played within one week after being established. That would give teams a chance to practice either against other n00b teams or non-n00b teams. We would need a private scrim server or lock the 1337 server when its not in use.

I'd also like to see the Pirate raids come back. That was the best crashing everyones servers!@!!!

I only play CS cuz of n00bfest and I know other people say the same thing so I know your doing something right Corpse.

I like s0x's idea a lot, but lately the tournaments have been shit and I'm sure strange doesn't want to put all the time and effort in for it to not work out again. I was thinking that maybe now that you guys have the two new sub clans up and running (tb and delta) that it would be easier to keep some teams in it. PSA is always down for some competition no matter the game. If you need any help anything tournament wise I am here.

I'll be more than happy to put the time and effort into it if it works or not.

It's fun to organize.

It's just better when it actually works.

The one thing n00bfest has is lots of members so why not start a league.I know,your thinking same old shit but why not start a league with 10-15 players on each team.Teams would have to be massive but i think we could field a 30 man team so at least 10-15 would show up for match time.

Next question would be, can we find other clans that could come up with teams that big? Its just an idea.


Or with all the religious talk here of late maybe we can be the Christian gamers league.

The whole league or tournament style thing is right up my butt hole. but is it possible to get that many people together. im on every day and i only ever see 5 or 6 n00bs on. If were gonna try and go through with it we might as well start soon.
