I just got this laptop a month ago, its my first computer with an intel and now its my primary. Got a T7700 2.4 with it works ok. I don't care it probably wont have any difference vs the other one anyway. I'm fine with vista, just took me a day to get used to it. It ain't perfect but its not sucky.

The one I'm using has an intel T7700, so I guess I'll vote for that :) . It's pretty fast. The only bottle necks on my system I tend to notice either involve my internet connection or my integrated video card...

Nope, do not have a laptop. I play off of a friend's old desktop. Personally I am a friend of AMD. I have issues with all of the failures my old Intel , processor gave me. My old amd has yet to fail me (in sister's room now). Also, Vista sucks balls. I prefer Linux ,despite the occasional error when using windows games on it (using a mod to play windows stuff on linux).

I'm an AMD fan myself, but if I were going to get a laptop, I'd get an Intel processor, simply because you can get more bang for your buck in the dual and quad core procs that they make.
However, you'd better be using Windows XP Pro or Vista Ultimate/Business to take advantage of the multiple cores, or else you're pissing your money away.
mexicanthief: Do you use Cadega? If so, how's that working out for you? What does it do to your frame rate? If I could get a performance benefit over using Cadega with whatever flavor of Linux over XP, then I'd be all for it.
