Well, gun control is Bull, i mean every individual have´s the right to do whatever he want´s, unless he dosn´t mess with a second or thirt party. If one guy or thousands have weapons in their houses it dosnt mean that ALL of those guys are going to just run to the first school they find on the street and start shooting people up.If you have someone to blame, i say blame the parents, they shoulda put more attention on his son mental state or what hes going up to. Hell some people believe that having guns in theyr house´s make them more secure it´s a fact that can e solved by statistics.
Another thing you´re just not gonna erradicate this problem by taking guns away or puting metal detectors on a school ´s front door or a full army with m4´s or bazookas, one way or another they are going to get guns and pass that metal detector.So we have to atack this thing by the root, and that´s THE FAMILY problems, we can do it by social services, free counseling, blablabla you name it.

States that have carry laws have the lowest crime rates. Every American should own a gun.

I will be damned if anyone takes my guns. Even if you make guns illegal, that still doesn't mean anything. Criminals will still have guns. Making them illegal would just make people less protected. A lot of people don't own guns and that is fine, but a lot do. Some people own them for hunting or just show. But either way, even though this one person went on a shooting rampage, that does not mean that if they were made illegal he couldn't have got the guns and done it anyways.

Brand is right. Criminals obtain guns illegaly anyhow. Making possession a crime wouldn't sovle much. It would make crimals more powerful and brave. Imagine a crack feind or rapist with a gun knowing that EVERY house he sees is defensless.

Not to mention how much the gun is ingrained in alot of our culture. I'm not talking about hiphop, I mean, I got my first 4-10 around the age of 11 or 12. My Dad built a few black powder rifles and did custom stock decoration for years. The only politcal party that would push the issue would be the Dem's and if it actually passed as a country wide ban, I think there might be a new American revolution.

As most of you know I hunt a lot, and in doing so I have gotten my hands on some gnarly meat sticks. There is no way I will ever give up my guns, EVER!

The two guns recovered BOTH had their serial numbers filed off (just as I thought they would) meaning they were more than likely stolen. I agree more with gun knowledge than anything else. Not only will I never give them up, no one will ever steal them.

Oh and by the way, here in Michigan they finally just passed the new "This is my castle" law. So go ahead, break into my house! I'll have some "T" steel shot ready and no longer will I have to worry that if you die (as the robber or attacker) that I will be prosicuted. Even more so if I feel that as your running down the street with steel shot in yer ass that you might cause harm to anyone else I'm gonna plug ya once more to ensure that everyone in the area is safe, and still not have to worry about prosicution!

This whole thing has opened my eyes a little more. My next purchase this summer is gonna be a springfeild armory XD 45 ACP. Just a little added bonus when I get my carry permit!

Anything can be turned into a weapon. Guns are just easier to access, apparently. Having a weapon for protection is a kind of fear. You fear that someone is going to do something bad, so you protect against it. But when there's kids shooting up schools, and people breaking into houses and stealing from/murdering people, then I'd say that that fear is pretty reasonable.

Saying protection is a kind of fear is like saying blue is a kind of gerbil. Having protection is just being prepaired. I do not fear someone will break in but if it happens I am prepaired to sent him to his maker.

I think if they make guns illegal there would be a bigger problem with guns. its stupid people with guns that kill people. And you can get guns very easy on the streets so there is no way for them to contoll guns anyways.
