I played H-T-M-L again last night, and he did play kind of goofy, but as far as I could tell he wasn't doing anything hacky. I told him you were on here whining and asked him if he was going to defend himself, and he didn't respond. In fact, he would only type, "Good job." when his team would get a flag capture.

Here's a screenshot of my score on SpillKill yesterday. SpillKill is a map that looks like the irrigation canal in Los Angeles, like in Terminator 2. I was in the middle the entire time with pistols and the particle weapon. Several times I killed the entire team.



No cheats. I don't know what I can do to prove it. Want me to videotape me owning you? I've got a webcam built into my screen, so I can have a picture in picture view of me yawning after I kill you, with slow motion replays and bullet-time Matrix effects of my yawn also.

Granted, I hardly ever get above 100 kills because I usually play DM, but since the CTF server has a half hour limit, and if it's a tie, there's a half hour sudden death added onto that, that gives me a lot more time. Usually I'm first place, and I hardly ever have more than 30 deaths.

Also, in FEAR ping advantage is reverse. People with 100 to 160 ping cannot hit weapons they have to aim (like sniper rifles, the particle railgun, etc.) but when they shoot machine guns and pistols, FEAR compensates with some kind of anti-lag crap which gives them a huge advantage. They're not in-synch with the server, but FEAR gives them the shot anyway, so you can get killed by someone when you're long gone, if they have high ping. For example: Someone with 160 ping can machine gun me and kill me up to 1 full second after I've already taken cover. I, on the other hand, have to shoot them for a full second before it registers as them being shot. That's why with high ping people you can shoot and shoot and shoot them and all you hear is the padded armor sound, even if they're low on health with no armor.

So in FEAR, high ping is an advantage, so that screenshot above where the enemy team is all pinging 100ms or more, they have a huuuuuge advantage over me, believe it or not.

Heck, I connected to some server in Europe before, and it took a minute to get used to how far to aim ahead, etc... But I was impossible to kill once I got used to it, because I had 160ms ping.

Play smart and you don't die.

Play dumb and you die.

If you die, you have to run all the way back to the kill zone to get some frags. Wasted time.

If you let some teammembers play stupid and get killed, then you can run in for the easy finishes.

If people complain about hacking on servers, they're less likely to just shut down every server that gets complaints, and more likely to create an anti-cheat program, like VAC.
