ok... this is really weird. i like the mods that you put into the website, most kills, donations etc.

The main things
-the use of guns and such. This community is expanding so for each section we should put an icons for whats appropriate for that section. FOr example WoW section a character or something. Another idea is what you could alternate icons such as new post is a gun shooting, old post are WoW icons.

im not saying i can do better but hes wait i think would make it look better:

new colors the orange and black metal theme seems like a little clan template that small communitys use.

-the banner at the top is very empty on the right hand side of it.

-the text that says home and all that looks really crowded.

- theres a gradient of red right below the banner

-on the bar that says members, main and news, on the left hand side theres a black rectangle.


Overall I like it but I think you/we can improve it tremendously.

What exactly you mean by a new Toolbar?

Well the old site had a n00bfest toolbar that I got from the n00b only forum from Judi. It still worked to go to the home page except there was a icon to go to the forums, mail, stats page, and etc. but none of that worked anymore.

You could have just said you don't like it. You don't have to say "this shit sux balls", you know. There a difference between sharing your opinion and being a prick.

We're actually going to put an entrance portal at the front of the site eventually so people can "choose their game", so to speak. High and Acid Rain are already working on some concept art for us and have a preliminary idea posted here:

Sorry, but this one was a personal preference of mine. I love the theme, but you're right to say it looks like a clan site. That's the intentions for the Counter-Strike skin. When we make a World of Warcraft skin it'll be Guild-Like, the BF2 skin will be Troop-Like, and the FEAR skin will be gruesome and scary (hopefully). The CS/CZ portion of the site is really just an overblown clan grown out of control. The n00bfest.com community will eventually be a web portal for several games (hopefully).



Another nice observation! We actually intend to bring back the animations to the header eventually. We need that space to put little funny CS movies. Go make us one and be the first kid on your block to be able to brag about it!



Sorry, but that's another personal preference. It was spaced wider and larger and it took up too much space, so I asked Shoto to reduce it. You might try holding down the Ctrl key and scrolling your mouse wheel up and down to see if you can size it for your viewing pleasure.

Yes, much tweaking and developing can be done. Remember, this is v3.0 and as things get improved or changed we'll upgrade to 3.1, 3.2, etc. This is essentially the beta launch of version 3. Until we get people using it, we can't discover all the little nuances that happen from different resolutions, computer types and browsing methods.

Actually now that i look at it the only lettering that is kinda bad is the top ones the first four and how it blinks is really weird. The colors are actually fine I guess I wasnt use to it.

Also I just noticed at the top the left side of the banner also has a red gradient in it just like the bottom. The top and the right side doesn't. Just a thought.

Thanks for the details. This is definately an issue involving screen resolution or something similar. I don't see the same thing on my screen. I'm using 1280x1024. What resolution are you using?

For some reason, I don't think you're going to get the "Go F*CK yourself" treatment.

I use 1280x960 and have the little black bar.

I use 1280x1024 just like coprsie and I have it too.
