I bought the vid card day after thanksgiving at best buy for 100$.

I had bought it for a christmas gift for Missy, unfortunatly her AGP slot is kinda oldish and so the vid card works similar to her older video card (the one she is using now). And we decided since they both work about the same might aswell re sell the newer one to get our money back ( i lost the recipt).

So in short there is nothing wrong with the vid card its still brand new 8) Its just no use for us.

Let me clear you up Snoopy. There is no such thing s a VGA slot. VGA (Video graphics Array) card = Video card.

Type of slots that can house a VGA card/Video card:

1. PCI-E slot. (Which blueberry cleared out that this is the slot your motherboard has for a video card.)

2. AGP slot. (Accelerated Graphics Port, is older than the PCI-E slot but still in wide use today.)

3. PCI slot (different to the PCI-E slot). (Hella old to be mounted with a VGA card. But still present in every motherboard. Sound cards, USB cards VGA cards from your grandpa's time etc. can be mounted.)

Yes, buy a video card that says for PCI-E x16 in its box.

i have the 7600 gt and on my comp (pt 4 ht 3.4), i get a 3dmark06 score of around 3085. Let me tell you, this card pwns. IT is good for the 100 dollars, but the 7900gt is twice as good but like another 150 bucks more. Get this card you'll be satisfied (btw, i got mine from Bfg overclocked from comp usa for 100 bucks during black friday) graphics are amazing

the overclock is not that big, but it's still better than nothing.

make sure you have a pci express slot on your computer though

Yes, a PCI-E slot is different from the ordinary PCI slot. Your model Dell Dimension 4700 I believe has 2 PCI slots and a single PCI-E slot available.

I have a pci slot is so hardcore. The best card I could find for it was a 6200 BFG w/e.

If your going to buy a 7300 go with the gt the core clock is a little higher. The gs is the same card just not as fast.

You should get 100 fps at all times on cz with a 7300 gt.
