Nah it's from a song. Although I'm gonna start submitting my own writings into this forum. I have poetry, short stories and songs. Wouldn't mind some honest feedback. (Some of it is pretty Emo, not gonna lie it just works, I think Dark Poetry is more effective than the other.)

Hey, I was just a little bored and wanted to write, please give some honest feedback

Sticks and stones will break your bones
but your words cut me worse
what is so horribly wrong with me
why must I bear this curse?

Imperfections, faults, troubles
this is why you berate me?
Flaws, problems, defects
is this why you hate me?

So you’ll hit me
make me black and blue
after all you’re above the rules
what could ever happen to you.

You know that they hurt just as much
the words that you use
no scratches, impact or blood
but my soul will start to bruise

They make me winded
these insults can make me hit the ground
but in the end I’ll win
a victory profound

You’ll gang up on me
attack me from behind
you’ll rip at my skin
but I’ll tear at your mind

The fight will start
I do whatever I’m able
to take your self-esteem
until you’re mentally unstable

I’ll walk through the halls now
A new, joyous stride
Smiling, watching you choke
choking on your pride

Attack and watch me bleed
and when I lie in traction

I have in my college a class of writting(hate it im an engineer but i have to take it) and there is one guy there that had his poetry book published, and the proffesor always compares us to him. I hate that guy...
