con_color "250 250 250" should change it to white, I believe. Search around on Google for that command. You don't have to reinstall.

Luniz, this is really important:
1st Method for Protection After you uninstall/reinstall, go to your czero folder and find the file named "userconfig." This is a .cfg file. If it's not there, open a new notepad document.
Then find your "config," also a .cfg file, and open that. Copy everything in the config file and paste it in the userconfig file. Then save the userconfig file as "userconfig.cfg" in the czero folder. This file is executed along with your config files everytime CS starts. By having all the commands here, your binds and settings will reset to default everytime you restart CS.
If you ever need to change your settings, go into the userconfig file and manually change what you need. Each line in the userconfig and config are the exact same as the line in the console in-game. So make any changes as you would in-game.
2nd Method Go to your czero folder. Find the file "config" and right click it. Then go to properties. On the first tab, check the box to make it "Read-Only." This will prevent any changes from occurring by pesky admins, and will also keep your default settings. If you want to change your settings, you have to open "config," make your changes (as stated in 1st method) and save it as "config.cfg". You must make it read-only again after making changes.
I personally use the first method, and I also have a key bound to executing my userconfig.cfg.
bind "k" "exec userconfig.cfg"
It works very well if anything changes in the game.
To learn more about binding, find Shotokan's post about all the bind scripts/commands in either tips/tricks or tech support forums (it's a sticky)
I could also post my config up here if you need defaults and/or new commands.
