I strongly agree with you. I am an Atheist but I'm not an asshole who pisses himself whenever something is minutely religious, In our school when we say the pledge instead of whining and bitching like an asshole about having to say "under god" I just omit that one little phrase on move on with it.

I agree with all of that, except for the tax policy (which I'm undecided on)

But I must say that when a Christian votes for a moral issue or platform, they had better back it up by caring for the good of all people. People who vote Republican on moral issues are hypocrites. They vote to end abortion because it's protecting future humans, then say "screw the environment" and "screw the poor." It's like the crusades.

I must also say that I hope we don't have another 2 years of this political suicide in our presidency. He has already fucked up enough.

I'm 50/50 in the political spectrum. I agree with parts of both sides, but both parties have serious flaws. In all, politics is just a stage for pressing self-interests on others, even if they cause repercussions. I don't see how either party's view has "America" written in it. Nowadays it's the individual greed and craving for self-satisfaction that drives the government instead of the nationality seen briefly after 9/11

I'm not too sure on taxes either, I'd probably need to study the economic side more.

OK for all of you who dont really take time to actually try and understand something before you comment on a subject, I will enlighten you. What Kerry meant by that statement was that our government sends recruiters to schools, we all know that, but what hardly anyone knows is that when they get to the schools they ask the school for student roster. Now on that student roster every students GPA is posted on there best to worst. The recruiters start at the bottom (dumbest first) and focus on the lesser gpa students because they figure they have a better chance of talking them into joining the military..............Make better sense now????????

wow i dont know where to start but here goes:

1) Iraq - I believe that we went to war with them really as a strategic move. Our worst enemy at this time are the Iranians the country is very powerful and very rich. unfortunately its being ran by Islamic radicals that dont just want the Jews to die they want everyone dead do you think for a minute that if they took over Israel that they would just stop there? Hell NO! they want to spread their way all over the world. Iraq was a weak country especially after the first gulf war. Saddam signed an agreement back then on weapons proliferation and went against his word 13 times by the time we finally did something about it. The real problem we are having now is that Iran is pumping money into the Shiite's, who where oppressed during the Saddam regime, who are using it to kill the Sunni's (Saddam background) and Americans. most of the violence you see on tv are around Sunni and Shiite cities. anyway we have Iraq now and Afghanistan and we are putting the "squeeze" on Iran and trust me we have to. we dont want a nuclear war in the middle east and thats whats going to happen if we dont play our cards right. we really have to start "seeing past our nose" or the future looks very grim. it sucks being in war guys i know i have family and friends over there but they believe what they are doing is right and i do to. they tell me stories of how men, women, and children would run up to them in the streets trying to give them hugs and food. maybe the reasons where fucked up but damn it being the best country in the world its our job to help ppl. i mean if you look at it democrats just want to send money to these countries which just uses it against its ppl. Republicans want to get the F*CKER out who is hurting the ppl and let the ppl decide whats in their best interest. being the most powerful country we inherit certain responsibilities in the world and sometime democracy works and sometimes we just have to kick the shit out of them. or they will eventually kick the shit out of us. they arent going to stop. and i dont think we should either. fight them on their ground not ours. im methodical in my thinking and i like to think ahead and be on the offensive. in this global war we have we cant afford to be on the defensive.

2) i have never heard a conservative say screw the environment. and i have never heard them say screw the poor. you know thats what really bothers me about some of you ppl. you live in a country where you set your standard of living. no one makes you be poor its a choice YOU make. yes i may be hard on poor ppl but shit my wife and I work our F*CKING asses off for everything that we have. i mean 3 years ago my wife didnt have a job (she was pregnant) so i was the only one with a job. that year on my taxes i filed for $18K. after my daughter was born my wife started working and now 3 years later we together are going to file for around $115K for this year. Now you tell me where else in the world you can do that. My mother lives in the Dominican Republic which is a 3rd world country. they have NO social health-care. your either rich or your poor and the government really doesnt care as long as they are making money. but you know you dont see those ppl complaining hell most of them dont have running water. but they work their F*CKING ass off regardless because they have to, to survive. we in America have it too F*CKING easy. we really have no worries. so when you talk about dont care for the poor i think you need to look around the world and see how really blessed our poor really have it at least here our poor have the chance to become something if they want to. for the most part.

3) Taxes - quite simple we need a flat consumer tax. it would kill the IRS you wouldnt have to pay into the government just SS and your work benefits. you would only be taxed on your consumables. so when you spend money, which is what our nation does best thats why we are whats called a "consumer based economy", the government gets a flat tax on your purchases. that way everyone is taxed the same the rich to the poor. it kind of goes with whats called Reagan economics or Trickle Down economics. all you ppl want to know why they lower the taxes for the rich well i will tell you why. the philosophy is that if the rich have more to invest and spend the more it trickles down the ladder. the more we consume the more we demand, the more we demand the more companies have to produce, the more companies have to produce the more capacity is needed and jobs needed to fill the capacity, the more jobs the more money and so forth. the crazy thing is IT WORKS! look at our economy now i mean all the democrats want to give Clinton so much credit for he "great" economy during his administration. lets compare Bush's economy to Clinton's: Clinton - his economy was good but unstable he cut alot of programs (most military) and raised taxes to cover his ass and it drove us almost into a recession. Bush - came inherited a dropping economy, a 9/11 attack, and a full blown war and our economy has never been better. when he came into office he lowered the taxes, (by the way by raising taxes that also pushes industries out of the country) and made the fed lower the interest rate which caused a huge housing boom that starting feeding jobs and pushing our economy. amazing what lowering taxes can do! the only thing that held our economy back from really booming was the high gas prices.

i hope i didnt ramble to much. this is my longest post since i have been here lol

oh by the way Iran just fired an ass load of rockets during some "war games" today. some missiles that where fired could easily hit isreal and any of our troops stationed in the middle east.

hey rhyno here are some funny facts for you. in our military today 98% of them are high school graduates and 96% of our military officers have a college degree. looks pretty dumb to me. you see Kerry is stuck back in the vietnam era where yes most of our soldiers didnt have high school diplomas and there was even less college degree carriers. Kerry was a pu$$y and i have no respect for him even tho he fought for the country. hell when the moron came back for vietnam he went to france to meet with the leaders that we where are war with. then he degrades our military by calling them murderous men who rape women and kill children in cold blood. so it doesnt really surprise me when he says stupid shit about our military. he hated the military then and he hates the military now. im sorry your misguided but Kerry is a looser and he should be impeached from the senate for treasonous acts against our government and military.

That isn't true.. In my school, the recruiters had a table in the lunch room off to the side, they never walked up to you or hassled you. They just stood there and talked to the people that talked to them. About two or three times a year they had competitions that people could participate in, aka pull-ups or something like that.. That retards tried to ruin each time with idiotic fliers that they threw over the wall that said stuff like pull yourself up to the truth about the war in Iraq. We also had a test you could take, I took it to partially get out of class(can't remember the name) but all students got the same treatment, because they don't have access to GPA's.

your views are so missed up. you actually think that iran is going to stop with just isreal like they build all these weapons caches just to fight a country the size of rhode island. No. I think the vast majority of us would rather those three countries NOT possess nuclear weapons. However, it's too late, they've all had successful tests. With Iran, there's still the possibility of stopping the process...I don't know if military intervention is the best option, but it might be.
