Steam Support does not contact users over the Friends network - if a user with a username such as "Admin" or "Support" attempts to add you over the Friends network you should decline the user's add request" this is a notice on the valve forums to all of you. if you happen to have never seen this before nor really gave a shit to go through the valve forums well this is news to you. i recieved a friends request from "automated support" and figured ok what the hell. now being 1-2 weeks later i have recieved a notice loggin on my account that i was banned from secure servers because of the notice above. some how someone got my info and was playing as my account and got me banned for hacking. DO NOT accpet anyone with this name or anything related to it. |

Dude, a week ago someone named "Automated Support" tried to add me to steam friends. Since I really didn't know who it was, I didn't accept it and I just did a double-check to make sure he/she isn't on my friendslist.
