There is no way in hell you're going to tell me they weren't racing. The damn car was ripped in half. So, that means 2 things, Speeding, and Side-by Side, which equals racing. LOL! Please, he's screwed. It sucks that another person's life was lost, but Vanilla is going to Prison. I've had friends involved in the same type of scenarios, and I can tell you, that in the State of Florida, what happened on that road is getting him at least 2 years with Probation.

The road WAS screwed up, did you not read the story, or watch the video? The guy who heard everything said people race on that street all of the time, and that there were bumps and potholes in it. I'm gonna try keep this short and sweet. But the Camaro was lowered, the geometry of the suspension is altered. If the geometry is not corrected to accomodate the lowering, coupled with narrower tires (on the other forums I heard he was running DR's(Drag Radials aka almost slicks but DOT approved on the rear), on a wet road a good dip in the road will 1. cause you bottom out, and B. have you camber/caster go way out of limits. Hence he shot to the right since the left tire probably lost traction and causing him to clip the Mustang. The Mustang from what I've heard spun into the concrete pylon after clipping the curb.. Note concrete pylon. Even at 45mph a Mustang (Stang's are notorious for getting sliced in half if they impact a narrow object from the side regardless if they have a 5 star NHTSA side-impact rating) if gonna be a hurting unit. I've cleaned up enough car wrecks to know what I'm talking about. So they may or maynot have been racing. That is up to the investigators. All I can do is merely speculate. If they were racing, well they are screwed and it serves them right. If they weren't well shit happens and there was nothing either driver could do about it. Wrong place, wrong time.

we all know thers also a difference between going a little fast and racing....going 80 in a 65 with your buddy following you is a lot different then you both going petal to the metal

what happens happens, nothing anyone says or does can ever change what has already occurred... that goes for everything and everyone... those who were there know what happened, and those who survived have to live with the consequences of their actions... everyone knows the consequences of their actions and yet people still do things that have negative consequences on them and those around them... it happens everyday, thats why i try to avoid the evening news... who has the right to judge someone elses lifestyle?...

no one is perfect, we all make mistakes, don't sit in your chair like its a throne and pass judgement on someone else... if you don't think you've ever made a mistake either your afraid to admit it to yourself and/or others or you spend too much time in front of your monitor...

this post was to bring notice to the fact that we lost yet another member of n00bfest due to the same senseless act of street racing... from the sounds of some of the responses in this post it sounds like there are a lot of members interested in racing... perhaps these unfortunate accidents can help the n00bfest community raise awareness to our members and possibly others that street racing is a dangerous activity and just not worth the thrill...
