Was just thinking....who here has a really OLD steam ID? I was gonna post up a question of how long everyone has been playing CS, but people lie all the time....LOL.

Of course since I just got Steam and started playing in April mine is a huge 8 digit one.

Wonder what the oldest ID in n00bfest is?

dien, 3150 or something like that. I would have a 5 digit, but I didnt know what the F*CK steam was when wonID made the transfer.


Edit: Im pretty sure shinez (a mysterious team member of Uprising) has one lower than dien. He has a 4 digits just not sure on the digits.

I had a low digi, then I didnt register it during the wonID transfer, so it was lost, and now I have a 7 digi *cry*

digits doesnt mean to much.... I have a 8 digit but have been playing for 4 years...

8 digits just started a few months ago, so you haven't been playing STEAM for 4 years..

Anyways I started in January 05 and have a pretty big 7 digit.

yes i have been playing for 4 years... and i only have had this i.d for about a year now no less then 8 months for sure though, i have anthrology and most their i.ds are 8 digits. i purchased mine between 8-12 months ago and i have a 8 digit, and my friend sharpshooter got his within the last month and got a 7 didgit, so unless you have a 6 or 5 digit it means nothing like i said.....

wow did you need read it snoopy?? i only had this i.d for 8-12 months and it's a 4 i have played for about 4 years but never had the game till then. but regardless someone who bought the game 8 months later shouldn't have a lower i.d then me :(

This is actually really interesting, didn't know that about how sometimes you can get an "older" id even tho you just bought a game....

There is always a lot a "importance" attached to how "old" your Steam ID is, rather than how long you have actually been playing the game.

You guys are dumb, luciifer doesnt know what hes talking about. The Older the steam id the longer you've been playing unless you bought it on ebay.

The ID is created when you register a steam account, not when you register a game. Just because you go buy a copy of CS: Anthology from walmart doesn't mean you'll get a 7 digit, unless the account you're registering the game on is a 7 digit.

Ah Tucker and crayola are both correct :S I just looked up his steam and he must not kow how to count...his i.d was indeed 8 digits. problem solved.

Why not? All that matters about an id is that it identifies the account uniquely.

I've been playing Steam since Steam CS1.6 beta. But ya I have two accounts and the one I play with now isn't the one I started with. Maybe I should check my other one just to see what the ID # is.

i have two, one's a 7 digit with cz/source/1.6 and my older account is a 5 digit.
