Well I play inverted with arrow keys and no stock controls, all are at my own preference. So I cannot really tell you how to keep control mouse and KB wise, but I can tell you that if you play inverted like me and you have a colt (MY best & Fav. gun) you can spray your ass off, just push straight up on the mouse and a bit to the left and you will own a face or two. Or if you play non-inverted pull straight back and a bit to the right. With this you have to monitor where your spray is going so you can predict how much pull or push you will have to use to keep it under control.

I have noticed that when I spray my crosshair is never on the body of the person, it's usually under them, but yet I still seem to hit them with a bigger majority of my bullets in each clip.

Also, you should learn where certain sounds come from in certain maps. I learn visually, but I remember sounds well. So based on the sound a person makes running, shooting, reloading, switching weapons etc. in a certain spot tells me where they are.

I also have a certain hardware profile that I tweaked. I boot my pc on it when I game so it shuts down and disables unneccesary services, programs, and hardware. This tweak really helps alot. I dont get any lag from spyware/virus scans coming up or services that are useless to games. If you want this tweak or directions on how to set it up, let me know. I'll hook ya up.

A good mouse, headphones, video and sound card and help as well.

I'm playing CZ since I join this forum, I was the worst player those days, know I'm just bad, I learn to control recoil prcticing on empty servers shooting to walls, doing so, U can see where your shoot go when U spray, I think I play little better, but, I still need lots of practice. I hope this can help U a bit

my only advice: play iceworld with only usp. No armor/nade/primary gun

it will help you aim and generally pwn. it's a mild "spray pistol" too, so it'll make you control that.

qwned and I figured out the secret to our playing styles a few days ago. Aim for the head, unless you're mad; then go for the overkill.

That's not terrible advice, I started out playing real maps, then I went to funmaps to learn quick-pace shooting and develop better reflexes.

Also, I went back to playing 1.6, and when you're good at that, and you go back to CZ, you're 10x better, it may just be me, but, might wanna try it.

try the usp thing, and try shooting on the move, thats what helped me alot, after i learned to shoot on the move, stoping and shooting was even better

I gave kitten and twiztid the basic rundown I give almost everyone in my clan and his skill and accuracy have gone up dramatically. It just takes practice.
