No i just don't care enough to improve. :\

the heads being bigger is client-side only and have the time it isnt true unelss you use illegal cvars, resolution is all preference. some people may think 1024x768 is an AWPers res (which it usually is, some of the best awpers in the world use it) while others consider 648x480 the best for an all-around rifle player, but that's not always true either.

Why is that the awpers preference?

i usually use 1280 x 1024 or 1600 x 1200

I like it cuz its like having a widescreen format movie versus a fullscreen format you see more on the edges. Just be careful and make sure ur monitor and video card supports it.

you cant see anymore or less on 800x600 than you can on 1024x768, if your blind and have a 20" + monitor use 800x600 , if your not blind and have a 20" + monitor use w/e you want. It basically goes by the bigger the monitor the bigger the head. and resolution only really effects crosshair and text sise. Im on a 19" flatscreen crt and im blind so iuse 800x600 in cs, and 1024x768 in everything else, mainly fps reasons, It can also inprove your framerate drasticly if you change the size of the picture your card has to put out.

i changed the resolution lower and all it does is makes it blurry no difference except that

i play better at 8x6 for some reason... if i up it to 1280x1024 i suk hardcore, but when i put it back down after a couple days i'm a monster@!!@!!@!@!@!@

ive never even touched the resolution

heh... bah resolutions don't count... lower resolution = crappier looking game

higher resolution = better looking game

that's all. I've tried all sorts of resolutions and like orex said, it only adjust text and hud size. The opponents and everything is the same size... only way to get "more head" is to buy a bigger monitor.

btw, that's the only head orex is getting.

i personally use 800x600 but have thought about going back to 1024 as i am more of an awper now than before (i used to never awp) and tend to stay more consistent with 1024 but it's just personal preference.

i just don't switch around too often as i don't want to screw up my consistent play, so i refrain from doing so.
