 Does anyone know someone who can fluently speak russian, or atleast semi fluently so they have the contextual knowledge of words,
Im looking to get part of my next tattoo in cyrillic and i need to be sure that the word I have got translates as I want.

Re: Does anyone know I lived in Moscow for three years during high school and I am semi fluent. I also took two semesters in college and my best friend minored in Russian. So if I can't answer your question I'm sure he can. What word are you translating and what is the context? As a matter of fact my CS name Dyermo is actually a Russian word. Hope I can help.

Re: Does anyone know As according to my language skills since I speak 3 as is and have dealt with bilingual dictionaries too much I am looking for the contextual translation of почесть in english. (I believe theres a inflex on the o as well)
I realize there is like 5 different russian words for honor but I want to be sure I have the right version of it first, Im looking for the context that militaries use all the time.
Also dyermo, You are my new favorite friend and I may suck your brain dry of information about russia so I can actually teach it to myself better instead of where Im at right now (pretty much at the beginning slitting my wrists)

Re: Does anyone know почесть is the correct version of the word. Don't include the accent over the o because it is only used to help the learner get the correct stress on the word. The accents are not included when you write in Russian. Anything you want to know about Russia, the Russian people or language just let me know.
