If one of the newer games that I get need something more, I'm looking at upgrading to a 4870, or if I have enough, two of them drools _________________

I wasn't judging anything--just telling you the truth. Don't get upset about it. http://www.techreport.com/articles.x/15752/4 There are plenty of choices that would've been cheaper and better. You have a lot of room for an overclock with the 9.5x multi on that 8500.
