If some one could help me paly better that would be cool. This is how I gernerly play. Jump if 1v1. Run if you cant take someone like orex. Just shoot dont aim for head. Could some one tell me what I need to do to improve

Always aim at chest. Get a lucky headshot or the upper torso takes more damage so its a win win situation.

Always rush hard from point A to point B. Kill everything that stands in your way.

If your left alone or the last one alive always walk around and shank your enemy with stealth.

Never run with your gun out always a knife or pistol.

Abuse your quickswitch to have a gun and another weapon always at hand so your not caught with your pants down.

Finally, Practice makes perfect. Play the game until your fingers bleed and your so exhausted you want to cry.

it only takes 2 shots with almost any gun and they will be dead if you hit them in the head with each shot and its very possible i've done it ....and seen it done soo yea aim for the chest if you feel like pumping them full of lead and have low ping and dont have to aim for the head but if you feel like a good quick kill just shoot him in the head 2 or less times and he will die

Play around with your sensitivity too, some like it high, others like it low.

Headshots are the way to go.

I almost only aim for the head. Some newbie once asked me "How do you get all those headshots!??!"

I said "Aim for the F*CKING head."

I know I'm a bit late on this, but oh well.

Always aim for the chest and shoot in bursts of 2 or 3 shots with the AK or Colt. You should try to stick with those 2 weapons, they seem to be the most effective for almost everyone. With the AK, 2 shot bursts are better, but you can spray a little more with the Colt. Always stand still and crouch if possible while shooting, moving throws off your aim quite a bit. With the AK especially, pull the gun down slightly as you shoot, or else the recoil will throw off your aim. Later on, try learning to strafe and shoot, it helps a lot. Try to buy kevlar and nades when possible. And don't always rush, sometimes you need to camp or wait around a little bit before you make a move. It really depends on the situation (i.e. the map, how many players are left alive, etc.). It's going to take a while to really improve, you just have to keep playing and watching other people play. :P

You really want to try NOT to spray, and only shoot in bursts of 2 or 3 shots, especially with the AK since it has more recoil. BUT, since the colt has LESS recoil than the AK, it's ok to spray a little bit, but you should still try to keep it to 2-3 shot bursts.

When you are shooting, don't move because your aim will be thrown off. Once you learn how to stay somewhat still while shooting, try learning how to strafe and shoot. When you strafe and shoot, you are not moving as you are shooting, you stand still for a split second, shoot in bursts of 2-3 shots, and quickly strafe to the left or the right, and repeat the process. You need to learn how to stay perfectly still while shooting first in order to perfect the strafe and shoot, or else you'll just be strafing and spraying everywhere.

OMG IT works i was concentrating on the head today and it works I just got to break the old habit

best way to kill some one at long rang is by the scout, if you have a steady arm
best all around gun m4a1 colt, long rang and tight spary when needed comes in handy when shooting at a moving target
next is ak47 great for long rang shots and has that stopping power in so u can shoot once more to put them down.
desert eagle is a great pistol for stopping power and has a deadly med. rang shot.
Dulies are weak but they slow your target down anuff to give you a split sec. before they cn run.
AWP best gun in the game, 1 shot 1 kill, most servers have this gun banned great for a person of a sniper tase.
p90 is for the new, 50 rounds great for the style i call "spray-n-pray" up close by at a med-far rang dont bother to waste your ammo
mp5 navy great for room clearing, and fast reload make this a weapon of the rushers
Tmp is a weak gun but cheap for when low on money

dont stay in one spot to long if you know someone has spotted you.
reload when ever you have a chance you never no what is around that next turn.
when you go to shoot shoot in burst and if you can try to duck when you shoot makes a tighter groupping.
if you are close rang aim for chest, but if you have time to shoot before they see you aim at the head.

never ever jump while shoot or on a ladder your aim will drop and the chances of die'in grow.

only time to shoot while jumping is when you have the sot gun, b/c of the shot pattern
