As a Game Master, it takes literally 5 seconds to ban someone.

Not to mention, your account was at best suspended for one day, but in reality was most likely issued a mere warning.

When you finally decide to go back to WoW, just put in a petition to the Game Masters and they'll be able to restore most of your characters.

Kat you got any insite as to the time table bliz uses to delete accounts due to inactivity?

Old accounts are never deleted. Characters are never deleted by Blizzard either. Characters lower than level 60 that you manually delete will eventually be pruned from the server and at that point they cannot be undeleted by a GM.
