length of voluntary suspensions?
I suspended my account last year, and I just wanted to make sure that if I can still activate my old account if I get back on it this year?
I dont care so much about my main, but my 29 rogue twink took lots of time and gold

^QFT: My wife's account was inactive for about a year, everything is where it was when she left off. Reactivate, you're golden.

Appreciate the info.
Next question now, I used to live in Florida, now I live in Oregon.
I know in warcraft3, the area where you live determines the server you get best ping in.
Is that the same case with WoW?

Yeah, a bit. But it's really not as critical unless you're a battle ground whore and get stabbed in the back, hehe. Just to play though, I wouldn't see a problem. I use to play on a west coast server, did fine.

Something funny about that: The first time I saw QFT, I said WTF? My powers of Search-Fu were strong as I had to search the interwebs for WTF QFT meant. Took me to http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=qft and I actually felt cooler knowing that some day I'd be able to type QFT. Now, the first time I get to use it, I look like a dick.
Legendary fail on my part. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_46

No. Servers are lumped together in various data centers across the US according to Battlegroup. If you had a good ping on your server while in Florida, you may not have a good ping from Oregon, but at least you can marry your sister.

I think you can get some reward if you active a "retired" account or maybe its if someone else submits it and your account gets reactivated

I got some reward of like a free month when I activated my extra account that I hadn't used in over 8 months, its called scroll of ressurection, and its only for your friends to benefit unless you have an extra one lying around
