Anyone ever played the first one? It was an MMO FPS that took place in a persistent world with three factions. Meaning if you captured a base on a continent, it stayed yours until another faction decided to come in and sweep it up. Lot of shit out there for you to research on your own. Anyway, for those that want to play the game, I'd propose we all decide on a faction and play together when it comes out. Oh also, beta should be starting up soon.. If you had, at any point, an active Planetside 1 account, you're priority for a beta invite. There was also a free beta key in the March edition of PC Gamer for those interested.

I'm a huge Planetside fan. I'm likely going to be TR and roleplay as a hardcore fascist. We should definitely get a group together and play on the same server at least.

I played the first one till they started F*CKING shit up with the balance of the game. If enough people play I will be in, I love running around hacking and stealing other peoples shit in that game.
