Dragon Age: Origins
Pre-ordered it and have it already downloaded, but wont be able to play until i get home. Guess ima hafta put fallout 3 on the back burner while i take in this juicy morsel. if its as good as the trailors show, i probably wont be getting any sleep anytime soon.

Yeah i made a post about that game, i also think it looks pretty sick, and apparently the PC version is better than the 360 one (the one i was thinking of buying) so i dont know, i checked out the software and hardware specs and i think i can run it half and half between recommended and least specs.
In the link stated above you can see that the PC version has better score than the other 2 console scores, ill give it a thought about buying this in PC or 360, its going to be a great inside my head debate :s

Re: Dragon Age: Origins
played it and waznt completly blown away. reminds me of bulders gate.
its a good game, but the intro is a bit long and tedious, and getting into the main story is kind of slow. this is one of those games where expirenced RPGers would be able to play but not novices who expect action quickly.
now as soon as i figure out how to change hostile targets without clicking on them, it will be a btter game lol

A mate down the hall got the game, looked pretty cinematic and the screens on Steam look good, I'm just wondering my specifics on gameplay like is it more linear that it is open ended and such and such.

Re: Dragon Age: Origins
its not suppose to be a sandbox like fable or anything. it is a story, done in classic RPG style. The story is fantastical, and the character interactions are awsome, but does feel liek its lacking something. (mass effect dialogue kinda spoiled me and set a new standard that i think all games should follow. as in your character talks and doesnt speak telepathicaly with everyone)
