Post Guitar help
My son is 10 and wants a guitar for xmax so i picked up this Yamaha. http://www.guitarcenter.com/Yamaha-F335 ... 1166364.gc This is just kinda of a stocking stuffer item,so with that said and the fact that hes only 10 im not willing to put alot of money in one. I do plan on getting him lessons but i doubt he will stick with it. So tell me what you think of this guitar,if its crap ill take it back. Like i said i dont want to spend alot, but i aint in the habit of buying cheap shit either. I got this online so i went by the reviews on guitar centers website.

For a beginner that is fantastic. It's better than those cheap ass all-in-one fender squire and amp combos.

That's a pretty decent guitar. However, I would highly recommend you browse through all of the deals on eBay for guitars. You have no idea what amazing deals you can find on there.

That's a good guitar to start with. I started with a cheep Ibanez acoustic and it lasted me a couple of years. It'll either last him long enough to get him really passionate about it and get another one a year or two down the road, or last him long enough to find out he's not interested and put it down. Either way, it'll last him, and the initial investment isn't that high (for a guitar anyways). So good choice :D

If he takes to it i will have no problems with getting him a better guitar. As for the cost of lessons i dont really know. My wife will handle all that. We have a local guy everyone uses named Johnny Barron,he has a band and has written songs for some country music singer. But ill tell my wife to give the skype thing a look. I just wanted to make sure i didnt buy a piece of crap. Thanks for the input guys, ill let yall know how it turns out.
