I'll be in Vegas from Nov 21-24 with a buddy of mine. I've already hit up Purple (although he doesn't ever check his facebook). Anyone else in the area and wanna grab a couple of beers or something?

While you'll have a fairly good time on the main strip, make sure you hit up the old strip on Fremont Street. They generally have some live bands and the entertainment there is pretty much endless. If you go to the East/Southeast, about a block after you exit the "experience" part of Fremont, you'll run into the Heart Attack Grill, it's on the left. Folks that are over 350 lbs eat for free there as long as the weigh in with a doctor or nurse before each burger. I don't know if you've been fasting, but you might qualify! Don't go any further to the east after that because shit starts getting a little shady...

I've already told you about hash house a go go, just make sure you hit the one up on the main strip that's inside of the casino.

If you get time, go check out the inside of Caesars Palace, they have quite a few things that are worth seeing. Mainly, it's just awesomely decorated in there.

Also go check out the chocolate fountain in the Bellagio. They're awesome too. A whole lot more to see and do in that place than Caesars.

Walk up and down the main strip and stay the F*CK away from the Stratosphere area, lol. Don't buy liquor or beer inside of the Casino stores, you'll find plenty on the strip that sell liquor and beer a lot cheaper than inside the hotels. Like, buy two beers, drink one, other in your pocket. By the time you get done with those, you'll find another store to buy another two down the way.

Get a bus pass if you don't want to do a lot of walking. It's the best way to get up and down the strip, even to Fremont Street. NOT the monorail pass, that thing is stupid. You can buy a pass at damn near any front desk. So, do it while you're checking in.

Uhmmm, all I've got right now, except, Chris will get wasted quick. So don't let him drive, heh.

And you can drink $1 Michelob at the Casino Royal. I know its gross, but its better than paying $10 a beer...

Well, Luke, since this structure was finished on August 5, 1966 and Gaius Julius Caesar died in 44 BC, I would say the chances are rather slim. On an interesting note, the Palace is one of the few buildings left standing that is directly connected to organized crime in America. Payoffs and "the mob" are still a big thing there. Depends on who you talk to.

Anyway, Gman, I know you are good to Penn & Teller, but you should also look into Absinthe. Such a good show: cool stunts, hilarious and crude comedy, and super close and intimate viewing of the stage. If you go I'll come, because that's one show I would like to see again.
