Happy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend!
I know I started it out great, got up early and shot a great round of golf!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Mid-term exams next week so thanksgiving for me this year is all about studying all weekend long.
My sister came to visit my father an I for 2 days though and she took the time to give me my birthday present earlier since we're not gonna see each other until november. Got a pair of tickets for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Gonna go see Bach's Mass in B minor on december the 7th, it's gonna be freaking awesome!

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Just had a huge mound of turkey and mashed potatoes! Followed by some vanilla ice cream for desert, soooo full right now! We also made a loaf of bread cut in a criss cross pattern and soaked in garlic butter and then stuffed with shredded cheese. Put in the oven and bake it for 15 minutes and you have an amazing cheesy garlic bread.

I think they pour maple syrup all over their turkey and stuff it with hockey pucks.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Oh that's right, the world revolves around the US! LOL. Thanksgiving is a North American thing, so yes we celebrate it up here but a month earlier then you.
BTW, the first known Thanksgiving celebration in Canada was traced back to 1578 and the first American one was 1621. So I guess you guys copied us! In truth these celebrations were actually British in origin and where continued and changed with early settlers.

Everything does revolve around the US, just you see when we shit the bed and default this week. Go about book history all you want, but Murica' has dominated the popular image of Thanksgiving for centuries. If you'd go to some random dude on Earth and ask him the first thing that comes to mind when you say "Thanksgiving" he'd say "Big Muricans' gorging themselves" and when you'd ask him about Canadian Thanksgiving...he would go "they has Thanksgiving"? Murica'
