I didn't read the thread, but if anyone said anything other than beer, you better be a woman, or a homosexual.
I like a nice california merlot. Maybe a Cab Sav.

I love Rogue Dead Guy, Scotch, or Whiskey and Cola. Can't pick a favorite.

Re: Everyones favorite drink...
I've had probly over 150 imports / microbrews from around the country.....and I will always enjoy a good mixed drink over a beer.
Sweet Water Exodus Porter is one of my fav microbrews, Skullsplitter is the nastiest shit I've ever tasted(but will get u extremely smashed)
Grateful Deads are fantastic if you like semi fruity drinks
red bull/vodka, or jaeger bombs are awesome.
Spiced rum + dr. pepper is good.
Jack and Coke, Long Islands are always classics.
Chocolate Cake shots are ridiculously good. Chocolate martini's are great too.
Ok I could sit here all night talking about alcohol. I'm done now

Re: Everyones favorite drink...
I've been drinking a lot of Glenlivet 12 year Scotch. For beer: any kind, really, except really dark beer. If I see it, I'll always get Sam Adams (any of it, except some Cherry brew they have...NOT my thing) or Blue Moon (just tried their Spring batch, looking for the summer batch soon)

Re: Everyones favorite drink...
By good brews I mean something other than Sam Adams, Blue Moon or Hoegaarden-types. (Hoegaarden isn't that common but it's still way more common than Allagash, and it's definitely not a craft brew). So basically, craft brews prepared locally for limited distribution is what I'm asking about.

Tazzaler wrote: you mean be a dick? No, it had little to do with JoeMamma's post except using his information as an example of what I wasn't asking. I wanted to be more specific in my line of questioning and his post merely provided the proper non-examples of what I was asking for. Now please not be a HOMOSEXUAL and let me ask my question, AGAIN instead of having it buried half-way into a thread. Does anyone recommend a particular craft brew that may require being special-ordered or driving to a specific location in order to buy?

Re: Everyones favorite drink...
I know a store that'll special order pretty much anything so when I get the chance, I'll keep those in mind. Keep the suggestions rolling!!
Oh, just an FYI, whenever I can't find a micro-brew/craft ale of a non-supercommercial nature, I gravitate toward Sam Adams and Blue Moon, just saying. I'll also drink PBR if all that's available are 'domestic' style brews.
