But in all seriousness, I use an old gateway mouse. Has a ball, right click, left click, and a scroll wheel.

I have a $10 General Electric Optical Mouse. It has 5 buttons, isn't exclusively for right-handed people (I'm left-handed), and has never had any problems in the year that I have owned it, plus it's the perfect size and fits nicely in my hand.

Money well spent.
