As we draw closer to the end of the Bumper Sticker contest, we now have a need for more artwork.

As many of you know, Shadow has started making custom maps for n00bfest. Inside those maps, we would like to place n00bfest banners and/or posters, so that when other people use those maps it'll have n00bfest.com somewhere in the map.

So.... once again, show us what you have!! Put together some posters, pictures, and banners similar to the ones you see in standard Counter-Strike maps.

Newbie question: What pixel size range are you need'n? I've never made any levels so I have no idea.

i know a guy from clan in dod that edits existing maps and adds banners on them, like huge banners. he adds them in as sprites and its a 2 second dl when the map loads. he could put a banner on de_dust2_cz np. im still trying to figure out how to do it tho.

good question shorty try to make it a good size dont spam the map with a huge n00bfest banner just put a normal size one and high thats what i am gonna do i am gonna convert the funserver maps to _n00b maps and put n00bfest banners on them and maybe a little easter-egg

If we can figure out how he does it, we could put posters on all the existing server maps

wont ppl then have to download the whole new map after cause if they do i dont think it will attract more ppl so maybe we should just keep it with n00b fun server maps

lol, no offense but I think when he says he has no clue what pixel size to make 'em, saying "good" or "normal" size probably won't help much...

Hey all, im Dr0pK1CK. I don't really play cs much, i just make maps. Im Sh4d0w's brother. THe kid who made "aim_iceworld_cz" which i hear some have played.

Anywho, for the art size, the bigger is better, because on the map i can shrink it and if it is bigger that means when i shrink it, it doesn't loose any quality.

no all they have to download is the sprite. its only like 100k or something like that.

something that you can see from far away and advertises n00bfest something like what the bumper stickers were just without a slogan just n00bfest.com put it in iceworld colors like n00bfest.com with snow on it and a grey background because i am gonna edit iceworld and my map first to say n00bfest on it

Dude, High, that's kick ass. How hard is it to edit? Can the background be made transparent? Can it be black and yellow striped like the new site theme? Can the text be different colors?
