LOL! You're not going to get too much on the high end side for that price. You're best bet is to take the money and upgrade the one you have.

well first of all it depends on how much u wanna spend, if u got $1000 buning a hole in your pocket then you shood look out for an AMD 64x2 duel core with 'round 1-2 gigs of ddr ram, al least 200gigs of hd (if you like to dl moovies and jusk like that) vid cards are geeting cheap so u can get a 128 for each core and set it so that each card takes up half of the screen (which makes better frame rates happen) for the case u dont need much just watever you want that has a good power supply (srry i really dont know much about the power supply so i cant tell u much about it...) get a dvd rom and a cd rom (52x) if u want get a floppy or somn, and that shood be it (unless you wanna spend another $100-200 on a good sound card and soundblaster speekers...
thats it

Kicked...

1. Glad you like the SIG.

2. I can give you a list of parts, a low cost place to buy them. They take about two weeks to get to your house.

3. The BIG question is, can you put it together?

4. If you still want a list I can get it for in a day or two. Total cost is aroound 700 - 800...use the left over to get a really good monitor.

I'm smoking the truth you little b@#$!#@!! lmao! I was just saying that he wasn't going to get a high end system (For Gaming). 1000 dollars will barely have you playing F.E.A.R., and then what? You'll be spending another 1000 to play the next gen. games. Especially if you're working in a monitor to that price. Then that only leaves you what? 600-700 on the actual system. That's why I said he should just add to the system he has. He'll get a lot more for his money by doing that, compared to if he went the other way.

more than likely he has an older computer and upgrading it would be even more of a waste of time. i bet he couldnt throw $1000 bucks into it if he wanted to.
