All logs for the n00bfest servers are downloaded and compiled into the master stats list here on the website. That includes the n00bfest-eu server, funmaps, and the main server.
Last week we were at a little over 2,990,000 kills (look at the "weapons" stats for totals). After a massive week of gaming on n00bfest servers, we racked-up over 180,000 kills in one week. That's probably one of our busiest all-time weeks of ownage.
The webstats are tracking data from February forward, because we lost our previous database. We were up to around 2.5 million kills when it was lost.
The n00bfest European server is doing fantastic, and has been up-sized once again.
We also have several members coming forward and contemplating n00bfest servers. Mr. Belvadere has offered to provide a 20 player CS 1.6 server for us. He and I are in talks to see if we can get that off the ground in the next week or so. Also, Angry Kitten has offered to provide a game server for us if he can get his parents to fork over the cash in exchange for his personal slavery and servitude. We're not sure what game might be best for us to tackle next. Gman and Strange are also talking about getting another 16 man CZ server with AWPs allowed and some other rule changes.
I would just like to say THANKS to all the n00bs out there who are pitching in and keeping things running and busy. We really need all the help we can get, and if we can get people to host servers for us instead of pitching in cash, that works fine. All I ask is that you give Funservers a fair shot at your business, because they have done a fine job in setting us up with some good shit here.
Not quite a month since this post. This was posted on September 5th, and today is October 3rd.
The stats just updated and we now have 3,805,809 kills. That's really just the main server and the Funmaps server. Once the other servers get busy and they're integrated into the tracking system, the numbers will probably be even more remarkable.
800,000 kills in a month. That means that (on average) a n00b gets pwnt every 3 seconds.
