Post Time to Buckle Down!
Reports are varied, but we're being told to expect somwhere between 12-30 inches of rain in the next two days from Rita. Winds around 60mph by the time it gets here.

I spent most of today driving to Jackson, MS to get a generator because that's the closest place I could find one at. We're getting sand bags and shit ready, and if the water starts to rise all computers and valuables will be taken to the attic.

Might be out of action for a few days if it's as bad as they say. More than likely it won't be that bad because we're prepared for it. Usually the bad things only happen when you're not ready.

:-)

I'll be back!

We'll be fine, we're on a BIG ass hill, might get a tornado or something, but nothing to be concerned about.

The rain was coming down like mad. We had one of Rita's bands come through and the house started shaking.

It's still heading for us, but it's down to tropical storm strength now. Reports are varied, so we don't really know what to expect. Anywhere from 2-30 inches of rain depending on the stations we watch now.

I have a 7,000 watt generator, roughly 30 gallons of gas, and enough food and water to last us several days. Not to mention a long term contingency plan for abandoning this shithole town if all else fails.

So far it looks like she's disappointed the weathermen at every turn. Let's hope she keeps disappointing them.

You and your family are welcome to come live under my bed. Be careful, though, because sometimes I fart in my sleep.

Sleeping under Gman's bed wouldn't be too bad. Even if he DID fart while I was under there, the bubble probably wouldn't find it's way out of his ass cheeks for 2 days.

ROFL that is some fucked up shit. Gman has to live with the fart between
his ass cheeks for 2 days. ♥

Mandy you have to slap Corpse for that one. Hopefully you won't get grounded.

Post All is well now...
Fallen trees had downed some power lines in the area. They got things fixed up this afternoon and we're just about back to normal. I even played for a few minutes this evening.
