are you on a router? if so, open up your routers configuration which is an IP that your manual should have in it, mess around with your incoming TCP and UDP ports i forget which is which, but that should do it.
You didnt give me enough information, such as, when did it start happening? before or after your network was configured, did u install any blocking programs, such as MSAS(Microsoft anti spyware), norton or any other program of the such.
Tell me if any of this works, and alos answer my questions with the details of the events.

No router, just a switch and some cables.
There's no firewall. MSAS is disabled. It started happening out of the blue way after the network was first configured.

nope. it just stopped out of the blue.
we even did a system restore to like 3 hours before it happened.... nothing.

how old is the card? and is it 10/100 or 56k. and if you did a sys. restore, then it probably most definitely is the card.

and nothing else intergrated stopped working? but it will send out and not receive....Hmmm go check your BIOS for anything related, if you give me the Mobo and BIOS info ill go hit up a few Support forums.
