Hey everyone, long time to pwn. Just though i'd check in with you all and see whats new. I just got back the other day from a week at my aunt and uncle's place in Tennessee. You know what the coolest thing about the south is? You can buy beer at gas stations. Up here in the north, you have to go to a liquor store (though they are plentiful in delaware, not so much in pennsylvania cause they are all state run cause pennsylvania is the gayest of the northern states) and up here we dont sell alcohol at the grocery store like they do in the south.

Another thing that kicks ass about the south are the guns. Here in delaware, we have like 3 legitamate gun stores (I say legitamate cause i dont think a place like dicks sporting goods or kmart counts as a gun store) and they all suck. So when I was in Tennessee my uncle, my dad and i went to Benton Shooting Supply in Benton TN and I got a new Ruger 10/22 (which kicks ass). The selection there was huge and the guns were just sitting out, they werent locked up behind a giant glass case. They didnt even have locks on them, they were fully operable! Up here the guns are always locked behind the counter in cases and have like 10 locks on the gun.

As backwards as the south sometimes is, i must say that they are much more laid back than the north and it has its positives. We still won the war though (but according to my uncle, only virginia surrendered).

F*CK, up here in Iowa you can buy beer at any gas station, grocery store, shit, we even have drive-threw liquor stores.

We have drive-through liquor stores here in TX too. You can buy beer/wine at gas stations/grocery stores/walmart here in TX, but you can't buy liquor. In Louisiana, you can go to the gas station or wal-mart for your liter of jack daniel's. I thought that was hilarious because I never really thought about there being a large liquor section in wal-mart until I saw a jack daniel's display while wandering about with Mandy one evening.

I have two ruger 10/22's. They're nice guns; I just need new trigger-groups for 'em because they fire 2-3 rounds at a time and they tend to jam up because of it.

22's are fun to shoot because ammo is so cheap. I'd suggest looking into the ammo capacity laws for your state and buying the biggest magazines you can find. I've got a 30rd magazine and a handful of 10 rounders (bananas and the box-ones like the kind that come with the gun).

Btw: Mandy was born in Tennessee and K-Mart doesn't sell guns anymore.

I read somewhere several years back that they stopped selling guns in all their stores.

I think I know why some of them DO now, though. K-Mart went through a bankruptcy and they were bought out by (i think) the owner of Sears. The change in ownership might've changed that policy.

Kmart only stopped selling handgun ammo i think. I'm looking into getting 2 25 round hot lips clips cause i can get an auto loader for em. Also i want to buy an extended magazine release. Did you take your gun to a gunsmith to get the trigger pull weight lessened? Cause my uncle (who is the gun man in my family) said the trigger was too heavy cause they dont want lawsuits so i should take the gun to a gunsmith and get it changed.
