They both practically run on the same engine and 1.6 is NOT in any way/shape/form harder then cz, and the "hitboxes" and netcode is almost exactly the same since the engine is so similar in terms of everything.

Its just like any upgraded version of a game. There all going to have there tweaks to work on and each update/upgrade is going to have further tweaks to fix the new mistakes.

1.6 isnt flawless. Its an all around game for people that are stuck on the old way of CS. Its also an excuse for people who cant pump the power of the newer games.

1.5 was the true flawless version of CS. Anything else is just subpar, but the next best thing is Source.

Hitboxes, netcode, and all the other shit that come with running a game are purely based on how much time you put into it. Whether you play 1.6, CZ, or Source your going to get accustomed to the style of which ever game you play most. People that play pure Source complain about the others being a crappy game and vice versa.

One day people will just make the leap that is needed, learn and readjust to the new game and everything will be cool. Until then its a pissing contest to see which version is better.
