I already have a sweet 6 core rig with 8 gygs of RAM and yadda yadda on all that
but i did need a new laptop, one that was small and had long battery life, but also one that still had some power but wasnt to exspensive.

Looks nice, but F*CK hp.

It's not too bad, but try to find higher end laptops on sale next time. I got my HP G62 for only $400.
And Cyning I agree. But their laptops aren't too bad lately. Mine runs a bit hot but that's my only complaint.

yeah agree with cyning F*CK HP. never had very good luck with them but other then that looks like it would work great

After my sister's broke down twice within a two week period and it was only a year old I gave up on hp.

HP is just a distributor, what matters to a computer is the parts inside.

Its possible your sister had a bad model, or bad chip inside. I have had several HP's and only one went bad and it was my fault for not keeping it clean.

But i like this lappy, nearly 9 hours of battery life is great work for the power it puts out.

Nah get this, after one year her laptop needed a new motherboard. She goes to get it replaced, and it fails after 2 weeks.

I haven't ever had problems with their computers, but their printers can be a pain sometimes. Also, their mice and keyboards aren't that great of products either.

HP doesn't make laptop parts. HP, Dell etc. get barebone laptops and parts made in different parts of Asia and put them together with their logo on them.

You'll never be able to tell when one of the parts inside your computer will fail, regardless of what company it is. It all just depends on your luck.

HP isn't bad. I work with their F*CKING massive printers and 8 PCs for 8 hours a day. That shit rarely breaks down and is easy to keep maintenance on, even for my 88 year old veteran co-worker. I work in a photo lab and print out 3k prints a day on average and things legitimately break down once every 6 months. Our tech is a F*CKING retarded African (born and raised in Kenya) who fucks up a lot so in actuality once a month.

I had a HP laptop for the first time in 2008 and after using it for like 3 weeks it stopped working it was gay. then i bought another that year which still works but then i bought a HP DV5 intel i3 core. this lappy works way better then my last two. The first lappy had a AMD processor which pooped on me!
